Yep, and an alternative at the moment is to let the multi-nationals come out of the shadows and officially run things.

One layer's bad, adding a load of european ones was just insane.

All of the European ones are still going to be in place and will effect us, we just won't have any say in anything.
Electing a bunch of UKIP MEPs made that fairly true already though, which was bloody stupid.
Leaving will also increase the power of the multi-nationals, especially while the current arseholes are in charge.

The French were the joint architects of the EU project. They're always dissatisfied with something, that's their nature.

However, if push came to shove, they'd vote to remain.

Of course Putin is funding any anti-EU party, whether left or right wing. He wants a fractured, divided Europe, and he'll fund whatever he feels is likely to help bring that about.

If Western Europe is busy fighting amongst itself, they'll be too divided to come to any consensus decision about opposing his next incursion into the parts of the old Soviet Union.,

No surprises, take out UK contribution and the budget will be cut, other countries contributions increase or UK forced to contribute for access to single market just like Norway.
Could easily be a combination of all three. 10 billion equates to £20 per person so it's not a huge figure to absorb one way or another.

Nah, that's just what you tried to spin the statement into, once you realised your own claim was bollocks.
