Decent first half. Defending from set pieces dramatically improved. More of same hopefully in second half
Bit of a slow start by both teams for the first 15 to 20 mins or so, I did notice for the first couple of corners for Cardiff it looked like a group hug and players from both sides were trying to kiss and cuddle each other. Bit of a scare when a Cardiff header hit the post and rebounded away off greens hand, Green should've been onto it quicker. Saw Hernandez with a good run and put a shot in that was saved by the Cardiff keeper. Around 27 mins of play saw Sacko pick up a yellow for a foul which floored the cardiff player. 32 mins saw Sacko pick up a mistake by the defenders and a cross to Wood saw him belt it at keeper, with only keeper in front of him, by all accounts it should've been in for Leeds first goal. 41 mins and Ayling picks up a yellow for a bad foul, showing studs according to commentator. 42 minutes and a shot from Cardiff hit the outside of the post beating Green. With 2 mins of added time on, with around 30 secs to go we saw Taylor at the left edge of Cardiffs penalty area doing 2 or 3 pirouettes trying to beat the defender. End of first half. Not a bad half from Leeds but Cardiff were ahead possession wise, Cardiff also had more attempts on goal. We had two good chances from Hernandez and Wood. Cardiff seemed to have the better of the midfield in first half, I think we're going to have to tighten up there as I'm sure Trollope would've picked up on that. Here's hoping we come out and put more pressure on their defence and keeper with a lot more shooting.
