And? Well, it means that your argument makes no ****ing sense. The Olympic/Paralympic thread is about the Olympics/Paralympics, not football. By that logic, that same thread is a rugby thread - so why hasn't it been full of Hull FC mentions? *cue "football is an Olympic sport" retort*
Countering your own argument with the logical answer doesn't make it less valid. I still see a lack of responses to other people taking a similar stance against the thread. Fascinating. Cue 'BCC in another argument shocker' when I didn't reply to either your or OLM's posts and it was the other way around.
I'm not even going to open it as its nowt to do with me or summat i want to see. I do hope the FC fans on here have done a thread on there about come on Hull City lets stuff Arsenal. Have they? Lets see how that would go?
I think the Deity will be just pleased to have his supposed existence acknowledged on this forum, where He usually only makes a peripheral appearance as a 'Sky fairy', or cursed as some sort of celestial 'Jim'll Fix It' entity who doesn't intervene in everyday matters.
I don't care for the other responses, I'm responding to your claim that all non-City sports threads go the same way. The Olympic/Paralympic threads does not follow this trend. I'll let you have the last word, it's all you usually want in these arguments.
There's actually a seven page City thread (about the takeover) without a single derogatory comment on it.
That's exactly the mindset we have to go into it with. For the first three crtical days I have the same problem being in a land where the heathens don't follow Cricket; I'm in Scotland.
When did I say that? I said it was going precisely as you would expect. I did not say all non-City sports threads go the same way. And yes, if you reply to me I invariably will reply back. That's the way discussions work.
Why would I need to do that? I can comment on the one's already on here such as the Matchday thread. Or do you feel we need separating out for some reason? I make no excuses for being passionate about both teams equally.
Gavin Hamilton, mention his name you'll be fine. I'll be in Sicily where I'm guessing most would answer, "They were **** after the plane crash" if asked if they knew owt about the Cricket.
I might be wrong but I thought the others were simply using the thread to have a dig at FC, rather than whinging that there is a thread.
Rather depends on what they're not being derigatory about. There are negative implications about their position as tenants and the running of the stadium, which have followed from other discussions that link that to City and football in general.
With ťhe the ones I know I'd be better off mentioning Andy Hamilton and trying to convince them they're Outnumbered! Enjoy Sicily
If taken simply at face value, I guess not. Maybe they've improved, but it is an exception, not the norm.
