    OK- which one? Edwardian when we won a load of league titles and cup successes?

    1950s cup successes?

    European glory in '69 and Eufa Cup and Champions League (you might need to Google the concept of playing in Europe against Foreign teams).

    But actually, your point is entirely pointless - if I'm having a conversation with my Dad, he'd argue Bobby Mitchell was the best player he ever saw - apart from some old black and white footage, I can't comment - but it doesn't mean his opinion is invalid.
