Great result this. Totally outworked them and were deservedly 2 up. Superior fitness for sure. Klopps team plays differently to spurs but runs as far and works as hard too. Big result really. Puts us in a great position now. Pity we only have **** teams to play now cos we will **** those up.
the amount of **** Lovren got last season (and much was deserved) he has been excellent tonight and him and Matip are looking to be a good centre back pair.
A very professional performance. I thought defensively we were brilliant. I didn't feel nervous at all. Matip just oozes class at the back and Lovren has gone back to basics and looked good. The he only time they got in was when lallana lost a strength battle with Matic and eased off and Hendo didn't cover the space. Poor from both of them there but that was only time Chelsea really got in behind.
Yeah but he was really poor in intensity and what he did do. Easily beaten every tine. Unlucky with header. That was a great save but aside from that i though he didnt contribute.

This Friday Night Football seems like a cracking idea Now, that wasn't pleasant for 25 minutes BUT it does show Klopp is getting through to them IMO - we actually kept very solid and they hardly had a real sniff of equalising.
