I am not sure I would start VDH the rumour I have heard is that he is nowhere near PL standard. But it is only a rumour.
We still dont have a permanent captain ffs......How long does it bloody take to organize your squad.......The club has gone from a very good run club to one that is clueless and in disarray with no Plan A, B, or C........Another experienced premiership manager can pick the same identical team and play to a plan with enthusiasm. This rubbish under guildo looks unorganized and leaderless playing as they like with no purpose. Our defending has dropped so much that the opposition look like they will score with every corner or set pieces. Our passing has dropped from one of the best to one of the worst and yet apart from a couple of players it is the same team ....so work that one out, It has to be the Manager doesn't it...
I honestly can't explain What's happend to our squad. It's as if someone turned a switch at Watford away last season. Subsequently costing Monk his job. Guidolin has done a decent job last season but the performances have been erratic at best. Since Monk has taken charge we can only turn up for 45 mins a game and don't seem to be good at keeping possession. I agree with Valley we must revert to 4-2-3-1 and play with fast wide players. I'm desperate to see how the team will do playing with Montero and Barrow. My favourite formation I've seen in our premier league era was home to WBA when we played with 3 wide players that all interchanged positions. It's by far the best football I've ever seen from Swansea. But we only done it the once. I think it was Dyer, Routlage and Hernandez.
Anyone watching Chelsea v Liverpool? They're defenders are old, slow and clueless. Still pissed we didn't stick Barrow and Monty on the wings from the off.
I honestly believe 100% that it wont matter which formation we use we will still play crap football with no Plan.....Somebody needs to come in and take the bull by the horns and put some direction into the club. We are going nowhere but downwards and the club is living on hope....They hope the next game will be better and when it's not they hope the next one will be and so on. We dont have the worst players in the premiership by a long way but we do have the worst way of playing than anyone....It is a very poor standard of football for a premiership club of 5 seasons standing and it must change or we could be heading in the wrong direction and nobody wants that....
Mcburnie hasn't got the class or experience of Llorente but has got pace and an eye for goal . Good to come of the bench but not yet to start.
