Morning all, we did have some rain on Wednesday, but none yesterday. Today overcast with rain promised for this afternoon.
Off to bank to point out the error of their ways again. I don't think they can add up, but what can you expect from people who are computerized. <grr>

    Depends.

If it's a photo you took or is saved on your machine, choose that option when uploading it. It's the button next to 'Post reply' at the bottom of the text field.

If it's a photo on the internet you want to post on here, right click on it and choose 'Copy image URL' and add it on here using the little picture symbol next to the video one.

It gave me the option of thumbnail or full size - not sure if there is any option to choose a size

Also if I click on the thumbnail - it does display larger

OK - it can be resized before being uploaded. Once you've saved a picture to your PC do you know how to resize it?

Imagine if you will spending a wet Friday evening in Lower Normandy. Potter along to your local football club that has facilities similar to those of a conference side, or lower, with a barrier alongside of the pitch with some adverts on it from local businesses. You can meet up with your mates and lean on the rail while you have a small beer or glass of the local plonk and have a good gossip. This is what I have just been watching as the French national league that covers a mix of professional and semi-professional clubs has created it's own on line TV station. It is very professional, more so than some of the coverage of much higher league football. Must say it takes me back to the days of travelling to some of the outposts of division 4 football.

Good morning everyone. I'm up and about 3/4s of an hour earlier than as if for going to work. Which given that all I have to do today is take myself off to the bank is a bit sad. Never seem to get a lie in when I want one even when I can.

Morning all, much better conditions to do things since the clouds appeared and the temperature dropped. Sleep is also easier at night without the fan whirring away. Need to think about what clothing to bring to England next week. Maybe pack the thermal underwear as you never quite know what to expect. :emoticon-0100-smile

After events in Watford yesterday, pack a raincoat too...

Listening to the news broadcast about the train derailment yesterday, I let slip a derisive snort when the broadcaster mentioned the 'UK-wide downpour'. I was sunning myself in the garden at the time.

Morning all from a sunny Jersey. There's a Gay Pride event on today - I think it's the first one here. If not, it's the one with the most publicity.
