I today interviewed a female who wants to become a plumber, so in for a trial day tomorrow.. Well it will be interesting, she has done a year so far and has good reviews. The lads will behave tomorrow...
Recently had a British Gas/Elec Repairman/women to replace my thermostat etc.....female, very able worker and able to hold a conversation.
80 F today at 4pm....but a noticeable change by 6pm......nice breeze and down to 70 F......we might get some rain tomorrow if we're lucky for the garden.
Never had a woman replace my thermostat before........Oh Matron!! You should get some rain tomorrow plym. According to the forecast you might end up with a bit more than you needed if the thunder storms hit as predicted.
Well your predictions are better than most at the moment....but not halfway through our walk at High Elms please....probably be nearly half-time when we get back......soaking wet plus losing to Exeter....I don't need that thankyou......
What £20 I can't remember that............I know I've had my tea because I'm still eating it off my shirt. Started RAINING last night about 11pm.....and still a steady downpour at 7.30am this morning.....typical....just put the dustbins out and got wet pushing past all the drooping wet shrubs.....left it as long as possible hoping it would stop for awhile.....our collection is generally spot on time ....so had to do it now.....can't put it out in the evening because of the foxes around here ripping everything open. Might have to buy some more petrol for the mower if the grass grows to quickly .....it's all or nothing isn't it.
OK Lord......I confess....it was me who laughed at Noah going over the top with his carpentry skills.....over 12 hours of rain non-stop......I can hear the damn grass growing as I type.
I'm exhausted.....over 5 hours of Davis Cup tennis........Murray loses to Del Potro in five gruelling sets.........how do they do it.....how on earth do the women get equal prize money for three paltry sets of at times quite gentle tennis. No prize money either in Davis Cup tournaments.
Did tell you it was going to rain plym. No good dripping now (ged it...boom boom) I've just been reading a bit about Trevor Francis on pasoti. The thread started apparently because he wasn't very complimentary about Plymouth and football. Not sure whats to get upset about when he says Plymouth isn't a football hotbed though as it's true. Anyway, I always thought he was a bit up his own so to speak and was too high and mighty to sign for his home town club. People who knew his family and him however paint a different picture and describe him as a really nice bloke. He didn't sign because there was no ambition here. Ring any bells? The one thing I didn't know is he went to the same school as me albeit he is 5 years younger so probably the reason why I didn't know him there. With what I read it just proves that your perceptions of people are not neccessarily the real person and what you hear that colours your opinion isn't neccessarily true. That doesn't mean I'm changing my mind about JB though.....
Have I missed something ? Curtis Nelson last played for Oxford on Sunday 14th August.....no sign of him since.....he didn't come off injured during that game....but he hasn't even been on the subs bench since.....is he injured....maybe in training.....I haven't tracked down any info to suggest that.....surely he isn't out of favour having played only three games....two in the league plus one cup. Has anyone heard anything that I haven't found as yet ?
Yes, after playing in the first 3 (?) games, he had a foot injury which kept him out of several. I don't know if he is fit yet.
Looked on not606 Oxford...but their site hardly exists.....your info seems to be all that there is....he hasn't been on the subs-bench yet.
Also.....Carl McHugh hasn't yet returned from that bad facial injury he received at the beginning of the season for Motherwell.
As much as we might not like it players move on. I have to say that we haven't missed any of these people. The fact they aren't playing for whatever reason says we might have been right not to bother too much.
