I think you're being very generous alluding to the fact that he may have "friends". It's more likely that he hitched a lift

Moved all posts from the other 'Rent' thread in here for continuity. OP's informed.
They all went in chronologically just to explain the mess :)

I think you got that wrong, the casting was made by the OP and you fell for it.

Curiosity is getting the better of me again.Has anyone ever provided a proven link about this mythical 16,000 that's constantly bandied about?

I know there's been several attempts to justify it's existence but never any concrete links.

It's not a myth, it's a cunning plan Baldrick. As we all know their fan base is huuuuge and if everyone turned up they'd have to use the Millenium Stadium.
Unfortunately that's in the No 1 city in wales. So...... they limit their attendances to under 16,000 and get a double whammy.
Whammy No.1 They don't have to visit a real city.
Whammy No.2 They don't have to pay any rent.

I actually think this should be a little worrying for Swansea supporters. Even if the matter is not considered important by the club, it is obviously annoying the council. Nobody wants to have their local club in conflict with the local council. A positive move to the prem doesn't need negative press associated with it. The Swans don't exactly have a great reputation for finances and I would have thought their supporters would be asking the club wtf is happening rather than making up "facts" or saying ii is rubbish. The Swansea Council obviously think something is wrong!

Did you actually read the BBC page?? I'll give you a heads up .. Here's the first line "Opposition councillors in Swansea want the city's football club to pay more rent for their home ground." so not actually annoying the council just the opposition.

    Pot, Kettle, Black.

This agreement has been known for years even by the BBC and any opposition Councillors. There is a new agreement being put together as it says in the article so I'll wait for the "facts" .. unlike yourself and this lazy BBC report.

To be said with a strong Jamaican accent.

You really didn't bother reading that article did you?

As our friend just proved..."it is not really happening" :)

I take what you say on board, but I was referring to more than one article. You may not be aware but this issue has been raised on and off over a period of time in a lot in different places...but, of course, you would ignore that. All of those stories must be rubbish.

As for the pot calling the kettle black...why? We have been bad with finances...yes but this thread is not about us. All I was saying is that you have been woeful as well and as supporters I would have thought you would be concerned with any new issues that question your financial integrity...yet again.
