Craft. Although the U turn by the government was pretty hilarious. Especially after announcing it to the press.
Happened, although with it being a largely American event it was incredibly hard to verify. Until 2012, of course, when we disclosed SOME of our UFO reports and associated requests under the Freedom of Information Act. (some of which can be found here, interesting reading: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/new...atabase-of-documents-released-by-the-MoD.html The Americans are super pissed off at this, not only because of things like Rendlesham which involved US military personnel, but also because they really, REALLY don't want this getting out.
Remember when the US government just outright denied Area 51's existence? They must have been well ****ed off when Google Earth came out.
Not sure if you can class it as a conspiracy theory but some political commentators have regarded the US' current relationship with Russia as Cold War II; some even say the Cold War never ended and the US and Russia still fight proxy wars in the Middle East. I mean, they still have alliance blocs that are opposed to each other. Russia supports Iran and Assad's regime whilst the US supports the Saudis and Israel. Then there was the Ukrainian crisis a few years ago.
Lambo must be having a cup of coffee otherwise there would have been a warning about no politics or even a locking of the thread. Or maybe he is engaged in a conspiracy?
How awful of them. Of course the Soviets gave unfettered access to all their installations, didn't they? Soviet military installations weren't even on maps and were in areas closed to outsiders. Maybe there were alien craft dotted all over the place whilst their occupants were giving them new technologies. Obviously these aliens were from less developed planets than the aliens in the US as they were always miles in front of the USSR.
Given both sides of the political divide have been in power during that period, I don't see how it's political in that sense. If it is, then wouldn't wars fall under the same bracket. You could argue all the 'public realm' works in Hull are political.
When someone said they based their thoughts on a book they had read and I replied. It was a good job they hadn't read Mein Kampf in that case it was deemed political.
The Soviets to be accurate, there were over 20 states involved not just Russians, faked the first man in space thing. Never showed any if it live and only announced it later. Everyone knows it was a fake. That's what you get from getting your information from mainstream news outlets like Pravda and the Soviet Brosdcasting Organisation unlike more informed people.
The first question for me is are we alone in the Universe. IMO it would be ludicrous to think we are. The next question for me is have ET's visited us. This I simply don't know , however 'they' have been filmed by NASA and NASA have tried to cover it up. I don't pay much attention to ground based videos and images from the public because they can be easily faked. There have been a couple of interesting phenomenon on live news broadcasts , google 'ufo tyne newcastle live tv'. Roswell fairly sure not weather balloon , but could have been Government testing advanced tech.
Then your whataboutism was pretty irrelevant. You do it all the time and it's just boring. Someone criticises the Daily Mail. 'What about the Guardian?' Someone criticises Thatcher. 'What about Labour?' Someone criticises the US. 'What about the Soviet Union?' Every single one of your arguments is fallacious. Instead of defending something you just go 'Ah, but what about [insert random thing Castro doesn't like here]?'.
I wasn't criticising the Sovirt Union you thick bastard. I was pointing out that you and other deluded conspiracy theorists think that the fact the US denied the existence of Area51 somehow proved there had been alien landings meant there must have been dozens in the Soviet Union as they had lots of places that they didn't admit the existence of. Of course it could just be that countries of differing political views all keep the existence ofmilitary installations secret, some more than others. Which wouldn't enter the febrile minds of the believers where everything is a conspiracy to keep the presence of aliens from everyone.
