One of the best things about our Europa games last season was the excitement generated by overseas fans in the city. Makes me feel all cosmopolitan like!
Well yes, on the whole though they tend not to chant/wave flags so it does add a certain something. I've also just realised that my Jawa (the frame anyway) which I'm riding in today was made in Prague. I will of course use the Moto Guzzi when we play Inter, it's at least Italian if not from Milan. Sadly I'm not aware of any Israeli motorcycle makers.
Finish work at 4 every day. This last 15 mins is dragging by. Not excited yet, but need a shower (I work from home )then food then pick up my mate as I'm the driver tonight. May get excited once I put on the red and white stripes
Strange that our Captain wont lead us out for our first Europa League (proper) game in 13 years. (Not denying it, just find it weird of Puel to do that)
I'm not from overseas but I've driven down from Norwich for the game this evening. Practically the same thing!
Depends which way you come! Don't Fran and the other caulkheads count as overseas visitors? The Solent looked like the sea to me last time I crossed it.
Right, the boys been dropped off just had some food washed down with a tinny now just about to leave. Up the Saints!!
