    Exactly the issue FLT, our first team isn't as strong as last seasons and if we rotate we weaken it even further.
    A win tonight will give us a real boost for Sundays "Must Win Game"
    Not only that but a 350m/7hour drive time effort deserves the teams finest effort...LOL

    It also depends on how seriously Inter take the competition. They may field weakened teams in order to concentrate on Serie A. Which would be nice.

    Of course I agree we will need to rotate, just that fitness shouldn't really be an issue at this stage and if we are to mix it up for these 2 games then I would prefer the 'stronger' team to play tonight. The Palace game next week is ideal to blood youth etc.

    Having the chance to improve on last season's display, I'm buzzing too, and even if we don't get out of the group I will enjoy it, these are great nights.

    But :smiley:

    Of course it depends on how much the team is rotated, but I don't think anyone would be happy if they turned up and found a load of fringe players and youngsters in the side. Not that I think that will happen, but these games are the end product of a great season ( Europe is what we've played for afterall ) and I think fans have the right to expect a side that has the best chance of success.

    Don't fizz FLT stay buzzing, it's only a discussion about team selection.

    REFEREE :- M. GRÄFE (born 21 September 1973) is a German football referee who is based in Berlin. He referees for Hertha 03 Zehlendorf of the Berlin Football Association. He is a FIFA referee, and is ranked as a UEFA first group referee.
    He has been officiating in the 2. Bundesliga since 2001, the Bundesliga since 2004 and received his FIFA license in 2007.
    He is a professional sports scientist, lives in Berlin.

    That is a lot of cards - obviously had an off day at Magdeburg!! Perhaps he was lifting something very heavy the day before the match and his arms ached to much too lift them above his shoulders?
