Cruise, lad released from Arsenal - Free!
And although not a full back, I'd also like to see us sign Hitzlsperger, Again a free!

More likely to get Ainsworth back as a make-shift right back than sign one of any real quality.

That's exactly what I'd like to see & would then be pretty optimistic for the season ahead.

    Welcome to the board Mark, I don't think we'll get 2 F/Bs.
One and cover for Derry hopefully.

I'm surprised Warnock hasn't made a move for Nat Clyne, certainly he would be up to PL class...

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bertrand turn up on loan from Chelsea. Would be good for both clubs.

I know I'm probably alone on this but I thought Hill and Orr did really well last season and deserve their chance in the PL. I'm sure that they will get skinned by some top players but they'll hold their own against the majority. I felt more comfortable with Orr than Walker when we were defending (Walker was great going forward though). I also thought both Hill and Orr were more adventurous at the end of the season.

I know of 4 QPR fans in Listowel including myself. Saw a QPR jersey, which is a rare site in Ireland, at a Teddy Bear's Picnic in Muckross Park a couple of weeks back.

Met Don Givens as part of an FAI delegation a couple of years back in Asdee. I approached him wearing a QPR jacket and asked him did he recognise the crest. Nice guy, he was amused that I passed by Packie Bonner to have a word with him, particularly as Packie was getting so much attention.
