one happy note is we've seen newcastle and sunderland completely **** up with their not insignificant piles so I can see west ham being the poor relations in london for years to come... why? they are spivs. they will try to cheap ass.

I wouldn't go that far mate *cough* libel *cough*, but the deal is a crap one for the tax payer.

LLDC was being run by none other than bumbling Boris at the time the deal was struck, and Brady obviously had his trousers down (no pun or lewd suggestion intended ;))

don't care they are a terrible pair of spivs who should never have been allowed to own another club after birmingham... same as brady. she should not even be allowed ot be a director of any company.

I'd not be shocked if boris took a large back hander... leyton orient were ridicuoous wanting the staidum but spurs wanted it too and both felt they were done out of it,

The fact the owners paid out thousands to try and stop the Freedom of Information Act disclosing West Ham's rent speaks volumes.

Orient had a case though. Isn't there a rule that says one member club can't relocate into close area of another member club i.e. West Ham moving onto Orient's patch? Don't tell me the FA broke their own rules :emoticon-0104-surpr

We own it mate (we being the tax payer)

The London Legacy Development Corporation, the man who blocked the FOI request was Boris Johnson as he was heading it up at the time. The fact that it's probably suspect at worst or a complete mismanagement of a state owned asset at best, should come as no surprise given he's had his mitts on it, the bumbling liar.

Just to clear up - I did know we owned it, but not having paid enough attention, I thought LLDC was a company acting on behalf of West Ham. As it was them paying to keep the information out of the public domain, I thought it was therefore West Ham's owners trying to keep it quiet - not Boris et al.

New stadium syndrome affecting West Ham. Slaven Bilic diagnosed it before they moved.

    Hopefully mate <ok>

The dream would be that they go into meltdown this season and got relegated, that would be fantastic.

West Ham overachieved last season, reality is coming in now. They wanted to sell Payet for £M100
in the summer. Next summer, they are going to be lucky to get £M20

Great save from Jones from a zlatan free kick in the dying seconds, the home crowd singing you'll never walk alone after the final whistle.<laugh>

I assume you mean Payet. Think next summer will be the last his value increases, soon he'll be 30 and after that a players value tends to drop due to the limited future.
I know West Ham will value high, but can't see him being worth more than £30m, as a club would no longer be paying 'future potential tax' that someone like Pogba had. At 30 you are only paying for what a player is actually worth.

not watched it but Zlatan came on for Utd and it looks like Pogba started along with DePay. Martial looks also to have started so were Feyenoord brilliant or the very expensive Man Utd that bad?
