also, conversations have been had re the KC whatever Councillor Webster states......he is either unaware or a ****ing liar
It's probably just wishful thinking but I can't think of a good reason why a potential owner would put an investment of £100million into the hands of someone who is surely no more than a recent business acquaintance. It seems more likely he will have someone he knows and trusts in mind, or he will look for someone with the best credentials.
Ah well if Duffman is involved in the club in any capacity I guess there is no chance I'll be buying a pass/becoming a member for some time yet !! I put him & the Allams in pretty much the same category !!
. We'll have to return at some point NFT. We'll need to stop protesting at some point. Hopefully some good news will give us the motivation to move on and just support the club.
Just because he's angling for it, doesn't mean he's going to get it. I'm angling for an Aston Martin DB9 for Christmas...
Go all the way mate and get yourself a DB5. Drive it round Ehabs pad and honk your horn, whilst chanting CTWD
Duffen wont be helping sell the club out of the kindness of his heart. He's either: 1) After the CEO job 2) Getting a massive payday from the Allam's 3) Both
Any buyer is going to do his own due diligence, nobody is going to spend £80-90m without checking everything for themselves. I still think the Dai's are front runners.
Duffen could well be angling for CEO job but can't see him getting it. The potential new owners will notice who ran the club poorly during a time we should have been financiallying sound, they will also see big legal bills for court action taken against him. no chance any sensible buyer will use Duffen on the board
To be honest, they'll probably be lost in the mountain of legal bills for all the different parties the Allams end up in legal action with.
Prospective buyers of City may even read this forum as part of their due diligence! Apart from getting a feeling that the fans are poisonous they might think mmm, this Paul Duffen seems a rum character, better steer clear of him.
I hear Mcclaren is looking for a board level job...City connections and know's the management side of things.
If they're reading this forum then get some ****ing mirrors in the ladies loo's. Please. Thanks In anticipation Charlie
