You have to assume the fitness coaches deemed Dembele not to be up for 90 mins. The MF press has been very poor tonight, Which means Son becomes a luxury.
Playing at Wembley makes for a nice occasion and all that, but I'm not sure how much it suits our system. As RBDB points out, our press hasn't happened at all and we've not got a lot of width. Rose's absence contributes to that and we've not got a lot to change it from the bench, either. Alli's not been effective and Dier looks lost, so the central midfield needs to change. I'd go with Dembele, as everyone's suggesting, but we have several options. A switch to 4-4-2 might be something to leave until later in the game, though.
