Give us your 5 Autumn predictions for things that'll happen before the end of November that relate to the PL. I'll start 1. Sturridge will break again 2. Costa will get at least 1 red card 3. Micky 'the Horse Starver' Quinn will predict a RS title challenge and will say he's 'lumped on' them winning it on TS 4. Mark Hughes will get the sack 5. Rooney will eventually find the right colour hair dye to cover his grey and he'll stop looking like David Gest.
Ok here's mine; 1) Jose will get a touch line ban. 2) A game of football breaks out at West Ham, fans outraged! 3) Rooney dropped as United captain. 4) Wenger announces its his last season. 5) Crystal palace above Spurs
Here are mine: 1. Every time Chelsea play, Spurs and QPR fans will say Costa should have been sent off, even when he doesn't play 2. Everton will finish 4th 3. Mark Hughes WILL get the sack (have to agree there) 4. Mourinho will have at least one public fall out with one of his players 5. Rooney will continue to be ****, and then head to Japan next summer for a bumper pay day before retirement.
I originally went for Spurs in fourth, but have changed my mind. And yeah, didn't see the November bit That'll teach me to skim read
Here's mine: 1) At least one manager other than Hughes will go, maybe Pardew. 2)A section of Saints fans will start a Puel out campaign 3) Aguero will pick up a moderate injury 4) Liverpool will beat a big team prompting title talk followed by a **** result and talk of how they'll never make top 4. 5) Costa still won't have a red card, but will get a ban retrospectively.
At this early stage, combined with a hunch, my best guess would be ££££ United Chelsea Everton Arsenal Spurs or maybe Liverpool if they can get some consistency
Personally, and all banter aside, I think Chelsea will struggle to finish above either us or Arsenal, so I cannot see them making top 4. Everton will fall away, but could make top 6. I'm not sure about United. City look like sure-fire winners, but then I said that last season. Liverpool will do better than they've done for a couple of seasons, and are in with a shout for top 4, but they still look fragile at the back. I think the teams contesting the top 4 spots are City, United, Arsenal and Spurs. I think Chelsea and Liverpool are in with an outside shout. I do not believe that Everton have enough in their squad to maintain the consistency required for the long haul.
What do you think the pts spread will be between 1st and the Goons at the end of Nov (the Goons always to try to get something out to be Xmas No. 1) ??
Sacked managers? Pulis, Hughes, Pardew and possibly Bilic, as an outlier. Roughly four Leeds managers and one random, unpredictable one. Watfords, perhaps? Whoever's in goal for City will have endless speculation about their place and whether they're as good as Joe Hart. Ibrahimovic and Mourinho will be on the back pages constantly, regardless of what's going on with Man Utd. Moyes will be dull.
