trouble is ,kenny's loan targets have,nt been a success of late , hope we can bring in another forward as i think its a bit weaker than last season , henderson less mobile than the pace of morison and a target man (cue the hoofball) , and can Marquis cope with being the main man to score the goals with mcquoid.
I think the M and M combo look good for goals this seaon! and Henderson is more pacey than you think! he has good vision and a right handful around defenders! Batts back so a 5th striker should wait until the last min! we have some tough opening games and if the boys can get goals in the first few games then we will be ok!
im just being a bit cautious bigneil86, i hope m&m prove a success , but i dont go on friendlies and how many weve won ,as the first 12 games in the champ will tell us, i feel losing andros townsend for the time is a bit of a loss for us as he's a talented player and would have done a good job for us again this season but heres hoping tottenham have a change of heart
Afobe is yet another player who other clubs are interested in as well. We have lost out to other clubs on every player we have been linked with throughout the Summer so I hold out no hopes of him coming to us.
Harry has said that Townsend will be used in the Europa League so until they got knocked out I don't see us getting him back this season.
Lets hope we get Afobe then Henderson can shift when he needs to, he is fast for such a big fella. Morison isnt very quick anyway only when at full speed. His acceleration isn't all that. Theo robinson was very quick.
Just seen Aldo has said on twitter that (he heard) Afobe has been given a squad number for Arsenal 1st team this season
