Just heard he's close to signing for QPR - fee thought to be in the region of £1.5 million. Personally at that price I think we should come in for him. Yes I know he wouldn't be the answer to our striking problems, but he may be decent backup for that price. Scored a good few for Blackpool last season and, for me, he is better than Lovenkrands. One negative is that he is quite old.

    Thoughts?

This is what I say in tweet! This club seems for signing backup players all times instead of top players (who are going).

We do not need bodies to sit on the benches we need players to move up table!!!

    Swap Shola for him. <ok>

But he's already signed for QPR, was on SSN this afternoon. <ok>

He signed for QPR because they're his boyhood club, even if we went for him, he would've gone to them.

Even for 1.5m he'd be a waste of money (which is what he is for QPR). If Blackpool had had a better striker up front (i'm talking Best standard) then he'd most likely have managed to get about 20 odd goals the amount of chances they created!

  8. I can't believe we didn't go for him. 1.5 mil, low wages, nippy. He's not exactly what we need to replace Carroll properly, but he's better than Shola, Lover and Ranger atm.

He wastes too many chances imo.

But yeah he's already signed for QPR.

Yeah I knew he'd be going to QPR it was just a hypothetical question really.
