Can we just fast forward a couple of months so these idiots wake up and realise we're in a relegation fight and need to start playing.

I think we could see Denayer in for Djilobodji after today. I hope not because it won't do his confidence any good, but I can see it happening. I really wish Lens hadn't gone on loan. I'd be happier with more options in the forward positions.

Pretty much the first thing Khazri did was pull out of a challenge which led directly to their first goal...

This is very true, but he does offer a bit more than Watmore. In general.

Traditional early season collapse. Looking before the collapse you can see we've got some solid players. Khazri needs to be starting. Watmore needs to be used as an impact sub on tiring defenders. He does have use and is a handy weapon in the squad but it's not starting games. Can't grumble at a single performance up until the first goal apart from Dunc.

This team has had less time than most. It's going to be rocky for a while yet but I fully expect us to improve. No point talking after the collapse, you can point fingers all day, it's pointless everybody's arse went including the coaching staff on the bench.

Not too phased at the moment. They need time together as a squad. Just need to be patient and let them get to know each other. The problem again this season will be the gaping holes in the squad that our sackless chairman refused to fund. Scary lack of options everywhere except cb and the midfield births in front. Survival is going to hinge on keeping key players fit again. Just pray we spend in Jan to bolster what I believe a team with some promise.

I read Vinnie's post as that he can take a loss to Everton as they were good, but that means that you have to beat the teams below you, but you can't even do that (I guess he's referring to last season), I don't think he was implying Everton are a lower team.

That was how I read it.

For me there is little to choice between Watmore and Khazri. They both run about a lot without causing the opposition any problem. Watmore over Khazri as he knows where the penalty area is and can control the ball better than Khazri.
