How can you give more than 100%, you dippy kiddy boy Nolhwoman is an Arsenal fan, so why would he "big up" a UTD player.
Going quite a bit overthetop there. if you could count messi and ronaldo as wingers than i can think of 10 or so wingers that are better than him in europe and thats out of the top of my head.
No one said sanchez is as good as CR just as the potential to be so. i dont think he will as ronaldo and messi are quite a distance ahead of every footballer but he has the potential and for all we know he could be as good as ronaldo. while young cant as hes only 1 year younger and hes not nearly as good at the moment to be fair. obviously young is a good player no doubt about that but if i was a united fan i would have prefered sanchez personally. you already got two hard wokring wingers in valencia and park, someone saying you need balance that why you didnt get sanchez, thats bullshit, its the other way round. but eh just my opinion
Well consdiring most of the midfielders you currently play, such as carrick and fletcher can all put a tackle in and track back then not only do you have park and valencia who tracks back you also have rooney, quality on the ball is more important than another hard worker in my opinion. But if i was united i would have only bought sanchez if you had sold Nani. but like you said Nani can probably do whatever he can so maybe young was a good choice of a buy. But i think sanchez will turn out better than Nani in the long run. Either way united have more than enougth firepower in both the wings and strikers to make an impact what you really need is a better midfielder but thats not news to any of you so i wont get into that haha.
Park isn't really a winger, he's more of a wide midfielder. He can't dribble or beat his man well enough to be a true winger. That's the main reason we signed Young imo, he can play as a pure left winger, which we don't really have at the moment as Nani prefers to cut inside from the left and either shoot or lay the ball off rather than put a cross in. Sanchez is a better player than Young imo, but I'm not sure if he'd have been the right fit for us given that he is much stronger on the right wing than on the left. Obviously he's a player you'd want just for his quality, but if we went for him then we'd be reliant on either him or Nani being comfortable cutting in from the left to deliver crosses to the strikers if we wanted to keep a 442 formation in the league. I'm not sure how either of them would take to that, and if trying to force them to do it would restrict their ability to change matches for us.
He is, but not as good as Nani or Valencia, gives you more depth and you stopped us getting him. Bastards
Another poor attempt of declining Nani's tremendous talent. Nani is the Premier League's best winger, I only state facts. So, those of you who that disagree with me, I'd advice you to consider seeking professional help. On the other hand, I do admire Downing's style of play, but it's a crime to compare him to Nani. When we were on the verge of signing Ashley Young, I strongly insisted we secure the signing of Downing, who's twice the place Ashley Young will ever be. Ashley Young offers nothing but pace down the left-wing, I believe Ji-Sung Park is much more effective on the left flank. But, SAF has made another shocking signing that he will regret in the near future.
Seriously? Downing is in no way a better player than Young, Villa have done a great bit of business replacing Downing with N'Zogbia, who I personally think is a better all round player, and he cost less than half the price they sold Downing for.
What ive been telling liverpool fans for awhile, but downing is what they needed as they need crossers for carrol so there probably right. and downing is not better than young at all, all he can do better is cross and nothing more.
All the Villa fans I work with say, Young is the better player. Downing just looks good in an average team, at Liverpool he will look poor.
thats not how it works mate. If someone looks good in an average side it is because they have below standard players around them. When they move to a side with better lpayers they do not look as good as others are better than them, ie carrick
Young has all the attributes to be good at United, and I really think he can make a great claim for the left wing, the main thing is that we have four (Young, Valencia, Park, Nani) very good wingers competing for 2 positions , this can only be a good thing. I expect Young to furthur dvelop at United as well, on the whole i expect him to do well no specific reason, just a gut feeling
I'll be back after September, I'm currently on holiday - I'm in Egypt for those you that are wondering, and clearly admire my intelligence and superiority. I'll apologise for any inconvenience that I have caused, but hopefully once I land in the UK, I intend to resume posting on this site, and sharing my superior opinion with you.
