Saunders is an ideal opponent for Golovkin hence the reason he called him out last night.

As he'll try and trade with him and he'll get sat on his arse within 5 as a result

Eubank stands the better chance imo, as his speed and elusive style will frustrate GGG. With the right tactics I'd give him half a chance, which is more than I can say for Saunders.

Yes, he wants the title Saunders holds, but he also knows he'll flatten the twat.

He could well never be beaten this fella, he's as hard as nails

Eubank is box office and he's also bloody good. He's improved dramatically in the last 12 months and I think there's much more to come from him.

I like the arrogance it's boxing ffs, not bowls.

His speed and finishing is now brutal, once he gets a sniff of a wobble he wades in with a barrage of shots.

He'd need to become much more evasive if he was have a realistic chance against Golovkin like.

At the minute, despite his superior boxing skills he can still be drawn into a toe to toe slug fest. He needs to be able to control his ego in the ring, if he's going to make it at World level

He will eventually find a gimmie title at world level but if golovkin has thevunified titles he wont be able to hide at british champion orceuropean champion forever.

Its like this... we all think hay is a big mouth probably but we know he has to be to make up for not being anything like the guy anymore. Eubank seems to need the mouth even though hes on the way up.

Aj is the archetypal perfect champion for me. Hes got the game and doesnt need to mouth.

I would go as far as saying GGG is the most vicious fighter since Tyson.

Not fair to say that about Punk. He's a pro wrestler so he's a highly skilled athlete to be able to pull off all the moves required to make the matches work. Alright it's 'sports entertainment' but that doesn't mean there is no athleticism and skill involved, the moves are very real in terms of athletic difficulty, ok they don't 'hurt' hurt, but the bumps do hurt, in fact the real art in wrestling, apart from pulling off the big moves, is not to seriously harm your opponent or yourself whilst still making things look believable. People who say it's fake don't understand the fundamentals of wrestling, it's unfairly derided all the time.

He got absolutely wrecked last night though. Was painful to watch. Taken down after about 10 seconds, grounded and pounded, then rear naked choke out, zero offence, zero defence, pretty ignominious. But don't hate on the guy for trying and doing something extremely difficult, he should be praised for it

Course hes done well.. like an acrobat does well at his trade. You'd not put an acrobat in with a boxer though...

The reality is punk got a bit done over by wwe and went off tbinking he could pull this **** off and got his head handed to him.

Lesner was a fighter first. Taker flirted with it but knew the reality... too old not a fighter... harsh lesson but at his age he should have known it.

Same as mcgregor getting his head handed to him.. taking silly risks going up two weights fighting a guy on 2 weeks notice. Sure he took a long time and trained like **** and just about scrapped it out with a journeyman but you have to be realistic.

Its like brook.. he went up two weights against the absolute best in class and was lucky he didnt lose an eye while the referee ignored his corner for 20 seconds.... realistically... a necessary risk? Really?

<ok> Anyone who steps into a fighting ring deserves respect. Especially someone like CM Punk who could've easily stayed in the wrestling business and carried on making a great living financially.

I dunno about most vicious...he is pretty much going to doninate the middleweight scene to the point that he wont get a bout worth a payday. It will be interesting to see if he goes super middle then or what.

Just shows up what a blood sport it is. Corner man saves a guys eye potentially nobody is happy... the guy baying for the next goring (but is ignored) says hed stand there and offer up the blood so he can get some publicity...

    What a tosser.

In other news aj has to say nothi g cos hes actually got a belt so wbc and wilder are courting him.
