Don't know if it is related but there are segregation issues inside the ground.

Stoke have been shocking this season. Martins Indi looks terrible

Christ that was an easy goal for Benteke to score

There's been some quite "novel" approaches to defending and goalkeeping this season. James Collins yesterday, and Indi. And Adrian. And the rest of West Ham and Stoke. Oh and Lucas.

edit: Blind!

Another reason why I believe we should have gone for a Bony or a Benteke (other than the fact that they can actually score...), is because with the new supposed clampdown on shirt-holding, players like them are likely to have even greater success this season either in the air or using their body (or, alternatively, win more penalties for their sides).

It's not with hindsight (after Benteke's goal yesterday, and Long's misses) that I envisage myself being very jealous at Palace throughout this season, with Benteke and Remy.

(Although that jealously will be heavily offset if I get to witness the please of West Ham, and indeed Leicester, conceding four every game)

Remy is out for at least two months, at which point he'll come back for a game, then be out for another two months.

Bit of a reputation. But add in more seats and cheaper tickets etc. and it's not really a suprise.

I did talk about this after my visit to see West Ham in the Europa Cup 3rd qualifying round with their fans blatantly ignoring requests from the stewards to sit down. Hammers fans would find any excuse to stand up again, from singing how much they love Spurs and Millwall, to the very fact they were winning. I got a bit fed up with having to continually stand up and started to ask everyone to sit down. Almost achieved that when some bright spark started a chant to get everyone to stand up again.

And if elements of West Ham's support are fighting Watford and Bournemouth fans, it doesn't bear thinking what will happen when the likes of Arsenal role into town!!! They'll be chasing each other around the Olympic Park all afternoon and evening.
