Bobby Madley strikes again - debatable penalty for Arsenal in the 93rd minute for Arsenal to beat Southampton..... That said, without it we would have been 17th and staring at the Bottom 3 if we get thumped by Chelsea....
A winning result would be fantastic but a draw or loss wouldn't be the end of the world , the important thing is how the players are going to respond to the deserved criticism , it's no use if we go into tomorrows game thinking we're/they're already beaten, we have to believe that we can compete against the best and prove the doubters wrong and a positive team performance will put us in good stead for the forthcoming next few games .
Judging by previous games I don't believe that the team thinks like this and go into games against the top teams thinking that they're already beaten. I think the reason why we do well against the top teams is because it suits our style. As far as I can remember we always struggle against teams that put 11 men behind the ball. I'm not expecting a win tomorrow but I expect a good performance and see the players give it their all.
We are rubbish . if we stick to playing the way we have played our last 3 games then Chelsea will have a field day and will have us beat as soon as we take to the pitch. We need a change of formation and if that dont work we need to be able to change again.....I dont want to see subs brought on in the 80+ minute mark and should come on much earlier if we are being bombarded with shots which i am expecting......Fab is going to be very busy but he is a good keeper that we are luck to have.....
Yes but not good for us , with Watford winning there I was hoping they would be one of the sides wore than us.
At the end of the day, we have to help ourselves and not rely on the failings of others That said, all's fair in love and war....
All I'm saying is that it's hard to predict Who's going to struggle. I know it was an underwhelming transfer window but for me we can't judge fully until we at least see how Baston the others preform.
Pathetic setup with a formation that sits deep and defends all game, and bloody useless Taylor in the mix as well, well if this is how confident we are then this is going to be a long hard season, we will lose today big time, we cannot defend all game against the bottom sides, let alone a very improved Chelsea, Where is Leon Briton? Barrow, Monty?
I cannot believe our signing of the season is not even on the bench? If I see Taylor running backwards like a coward today then he will get it from me on the EP and Walesonline!.........
Looks like a back 3 to me. Bit like the Welsh formation with Taylor and Naughton as wingbacks. The logic seems to be overload the midfield and Overload the midfield.
