Think Firmino, Mane, Coutinho, Sturridge and even Origi (from the bench), if one goes missing they know they'll get the hook.
You get the impression they like playing with each other too, they all offer something different to our attacking play, which is nice to see, Studge our main finisher, Mane with his electric pace, Firimno and a quality all rounder, Coutinho the magician and Origi the apprentice to Studge.. the only player we don't have any cover for is Mane, hopefully we can address that in future windows or maybe groom the likes of Ojo to be that player, he's got the necessary tools, pace, power and can score a goal too!

I was at that game in the Anny Road End. We won the league and it was the send off before Rome and the FA Cup final. We were all on the pitch at the end as they paraded the league. Not so much invaded as hundreds of us just walked around with the players. Jimmy Case had thighs like a fat bird.

Leicester were ****e. Can't see them even challenging for the Europa League spots if they put in more performances like that.

Last year was a fluke. Their main aim now is 40points.Nevertheless do not take anything away from
    Liverpool.

I would still give that record to Chelsea personally even if Leicester do manage worst.

Chelsea can spend obscene amounts of money on players and give them ridiculous wages too. Leicester are like most of us probably have a cap on things.

Unfair advantage.so to me Chelsea will always hold the record as they couldnt like they usually do buy their way out of trouble.

Is it just me or does this feel like 13-14 all over again (except the aftermatch interview doesn't make me turn over ) in that we need 3 or 4 goals to feel at all safe but we will be really exciting to watch and at times the attack will be stunning.
The only question is can our attack do enough to make up for our defensive deficiencies ? .
Far too early really but you could almost equate Mane to Suarez in the positivity he brings to the team in both performance and attitude

Anyway should be fun watch whatever happens

Might be too early to say but we might actually have a better keeper so migs will have to be on his toes. As looked like in past he knew however ****e he was playing he was practically undroppable.

Defence is a worry though. Maybe new year in window.

Its not quite imo. That season started solid for 5 games and we were up within 6 the whole way and it was losing to Chelsea and city at Christmas that put us off the pace. It was only when both sturridge and suarez got together in February that we won 11 in a row and started throwing goals in at the back

This season all of our players are fit bar can and maybe sakho is self inflicted but we are already 5 off the top but look like we are a team that's got a plan unless sides sit off us.

Overall the front 3 or 4 look like they are fluid and know the score and the 3 in midfield so far are decent given we played Tottenham and matched them.

Arsenal were poor, we were not great. Leicester are midtable and we hockey ed them... the Tottenham game hints that we are competitive but not quite good enough for city and chelsea.... so.... utd spurs arsenal... then us.. someone is losing out in this 4 into 2 equation.

Very much so. I expect every four games to be a repeat of this, including a totally inexplicable loss to a club that we completely dominate, and a draw too in the same circumstances. Good job we never complain. <doh>

On the subject of rules, didn't the footy Echo used to do a 'You are the ref' thing way back when? I left Merseyside 25 years ago, so I haven't got the FE since then, but the reason I knew the beachball thing was wrong was that I seem to remember one of the scenarios in the FE was a dog wandering onto the pitch and the ball hitting that and going in.

Does anyone remember? Am I going senile? :emoticon-0181-fubar

Edit: It might have been a pigeon, actually.

I would just like to make the points that klopp has taken a rw out of Southampton and handed him total freedom and that he has totally transformed wijnaldum and lallana and milner too.

Even in preseason we didn't play 433 we didn't see all of this.

That is 4 players given new roles from what they used to do at other places or from last season.

Firmino has been given freedom too... he looks like he actually makes sense cos at rw or 10 last season he vanishedid. Nothing he is central to the games thus far.

It is more than anything the fluidity that makes it work and quite how they coach that on the training pitch I would like to know.

Wijnaldum has been excellent off the ball thus far, he's really working. Lallana has not been put under pressure yet but he's ran the furthest and got goals too.

Like... can and coutinho are not in there yesterday so in theory it can improve.

That question used to be on the old referees exam for - I want to say FA Prelim Coaching Award.
Don't know if the rules have changed but the one that used to make me laugh was if a fan ran into the pitch and kicked the ball in whilst the ball was in play - the goal had to stand. So you couldn't run on and take a pen but a nicely timed onslaught of you and your mates could be interesting as a ball is crossed in from a corner :)

Maybe that's why they play so much in training sessions...fluid understanding can only come from playing minutes...

Edit: I mean under Klopp...apparently they play a lot of football in sessions rather than technical training...

Its training and repetition. so its like attackers with no opponents playing patterns and the same defensively. lines, when and who pops up to close how fast to get back in etc etc

the biggest thing he cannot teach them is to keep faith and not panic and do what they did v burnely... what coutinho did yesterday... come on. don't retain it... lash long hopeless shots... he has to bring in guys with the mentality.

Coutinho actually coughed up the ball to Leicester by shooting and vardy ended up having an effort on goal! you have to see a place and time to shoot.
