We are 3rd from bottom. I predict Monk sacking Monday. Why Monday & not today, because Cellino is a very rational man who takes his time before he takes a decision.
Not aimed at you personally but what does anyone else expect or want? We are not going to get a striker who hits the back of the net with one in two chances, nobody else scored either so why is Wood to blame? Let's pretend for a moment that we have £6m for a striker and the transfer window opens up just for us, who should we sign, there isn't anyone. We signed the lower divisions best player, anyone else would cost us in excess of £10m if they were mad enough to sell. We created very few chances, our midield four had two holding players and an out of position central midfield player wide. I read plenty of complaints about Evans and his team selection, it was miles better than Monks. We have two massive defenders who should be able to make a nuisance at corners, wtf have we been practising during our two week break? I said lets give Monk time to get the team working, now I'm not sure, he hasn't a clue. If we were gradually getting better it would be a start but we're not and we are signing players to sit on the bench.
Monk is Deluded. Says we were unlucky to lose, it was a 0-0 game. the bloke came across as a real dickhead in the interview, he knows hes on a shaky peg
Listening to Popey interview Monk, I think he's completely lost, he evaded answering the "what identity do the Leeds team have" Monk was on verge of losing it with Popey, and Popey was just asking questions. IMO, Monk doesn't seem to have any answers or fixes at moment.
had you not conceded 3 against Forest you would have won had you not conceded one today it would have been 0-0 mans a genius
My concern, and some have voiced it, is Monk is a 4-2-3-1 coach, always has been. Why the switch to 4-4-2? No point in Mowatt being out wide, bring him in and then you have to play the diamond. Players in seemed to be so we would set up like that. Am hoping it's not pressure from above. Personally, I'd bring Silvestri back in, he's not great but by all accounts better than green. I'd bring big Dave back alongside Bridcutt as the holding two. Mowatt, O' Kane or Henandez behind the forward (where one was bought for and the other his natural position. Two wide men, roofe and sacko, and pick either Antonsson or Wood up front.
Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP 1h1 hour ago Assume O'Kane was injured/unavailable today because the logic for leaving him out just wasn't there. Had to be involved. Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP 27m27 minutes ago Will check this with Monk but I'm told by someone else that Eunan O'Kane was fit to play and trained earlier. Very odd. Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP 12m12 minutes ago O'Kane was fit but had only had a short time training with Leeds. Monk said he wanted to give him time to settle and adjust. Ten days to settle isn't enough??? This is surely a joke?? Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP 1h1 hour ago Problem for Monk is that his philosophy hasn't come through yet. Flat 4-4-2 doesn't seem like his style and it isn't working.
Was it Udders goal scorer that got off the plane just 24 hours ago? I think it's safe to officially say Monk is a bullshit artist, or is that an official bullshit artist.
please log in to view this image Is Cellino alongside Francesco Marrocu, former sporting director with MC at Cagliari? Lets have a look....
Sadly printed in the Daily mail but... Leeds United are ready to appoint Francesco Marroccu as their new sporting director. The Italian has been attending training at Thorp Arch every day and watching manager Garry Monk and first team coach James Beattie put the players through their paces though he has yet to be officially appointed. Marroccu had been working in a similar capacity at Ascoli but left that role in June as his contract expired. However, the arrival of Marroccu, who has limited English, is seen by some at the club as an ominous appointment.
I'd say it is Elland, I read an article about us having a new SD, and the name looks very familiar. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 also, http://www.footballinsider247.com/leeds-fans-react-on-twitter-to-chris-wood-display-v-huddersfield/? and, http://www.footballinsider247.com/l...tter-to-garry-monk-decisions-v-huddersfield/?
