    Thank the f**cking lord!

Cardiff can't buy a goal and have been rubbish this season. They managed 2 against us, at our place! I'm happy we won, obviously. I'm still as worried now, as I was before kickoff.....That was in no way a game to get the fans relaxed and feeling that we are in safe hands.

We have a knack of taking the comfort out of comfortable wins. Excellent goals from us , but sloppy goals given away as well.

3 - 2 at home against a team who couldn't score for toffee before now. Are the fans back on side? We are being treated like sh*t

Surely now that our super CB and Captain Marvel, Martin is back, he's ensuring that our defence is fully focused and composed just like it was last season.

And yet 1950, I think it is, can't be arsed to trawl and look now, thinks we have a defence that's the envy of most teams in this division <yikes>
About time we saw some proof if there is a grain of truth in that!

Who was played f position, Cromer? Martin had to play LB when Brady went off injured (worrying). Dorrans has played WL many times before. Great for Josh to come on and score the eventual winner.

Michael Bailey said at half time (I quoted him on here) how Howson was wasted wide right.
He's our engine, not a winger. Plus it's happened numerous times before.
Yes, it's three precious points, but it asks just as many questions as it answers <ok>

Dorrans is no left winger either!

Well we're 4th in the league, so it's not all bad. Although when you look at the teams we've played and their current respective positions in the league, you maybe get a better idea of our potential for promotion.

    6/8 Blackburn 1 (24th) Norwich 4

    13/8 Norwich 0 Sheffield Wed 0 (16th)

    16/8 Norwich 1 Bristol City 0 (8th)

    21/8 Ipswich 1 (15th) Norwich 1

    27/8 Birmingham 3 (3rd) Norwich 0

    10/9 Cardiff 2 (19th) Norwich 3

Perhaps our best result was against Bristol City on a Tuesday night, the only team above 15th in the table that we've beaten. Perhaps we should play all our games mid week.

What nobody seems to realise is that often, the square pegs played in round holes are better in those round holes than the available round pegs, but let's not let that stop us finding something to moan about eh?

:emoticon-0112-wonde So true. So against Wigan midweek, let's just draw the players names out of a hat to determine who plays where. But, of course, as the entire board and management / coaching staff walk on water, I can understand why you wouldn't have a problem with that arrangement. Give me strength <grr>

    We won lads. We won.

It's not anything to make us feel much better than before. But we had to win, and we did.

I don't so much feel happy, as just really really relieved.

It's not anything major to kick off about. There's discussions to be had, no questions have been answered. It is a win, and we are still in promotion touching distance at the moment.

Just remember that before the wave of anger takes you.

I'd say there was an audible corporate sigh around Norfolk (and beyond) at the final whistle.
    The relief was palpable <ok>
But as I said in an earlier comment, it asks as many questions as it answers.

Was there the protest? If so how bad did it get?

Did it effect the atmosphere in the stadium?

What was the atmosphere like on the final whistle? Was it quiet? Relief sighs? Boos and protest banners?

What's the use in raising a valid point when all it receives is a very poor piss-take response?

When we got Whittaker he was deemed as a rb or lb with equal comfort, are you saying we should have played him at lb?

Let's not fight after a win. It leaves nowhere to go when we lose to Wigan next! :emoticon-0110-tongu

Will Grigg is gonna totally embarrass our defenders.

We won which was the main thing as we have to get promoted from this Godforsaken **** division. A club of our stature shouldn't have to share the same pitch with the likes of Cardiff, Ipswich, Leeds, Huddersfield etc. etc. (you listening to me RBF?;))
Seriously though, I have never been so bored watching my team win, 5 goals and I hardly jumped out of my seat. Carrow Road was like a library and the atmosphere hardly improved after our third goal. The football is pants but as long as we are in with a sniff of promotion AN's position will be safe. If, when the results dry up mind . ......

I keep hearing the atmos is awful.....

That's horrible to hear. The atmos use to be amazing...Even when we were losing. The protests, the quiet stadium, the parachute payments vanishing without buying anyone, The performances.

It really feels like a tipping point at the moment. Us fans have to tip to the right direction. Otherwise this could all topple again. We have to support the team in the stadium, for every minute, like we use to. We have to push in the positive direction. We can't go back to league 1.
