The pair replace Dejan Lovren and Philippe Coutinho from the side that started at Tottenham Hotspur before the international break. Lovren is absent after suffering a knock to the head in training on Friday, while Coutinho is a substitute following a long trip back from South America. Goalkeeper Karius is fit to take up a place in the squad as the Reds play in front of Anfield’s new Main Stand for the first time. Liverpool team: Mignolet, Clyne, Matip, Lucas, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Firmino, Mane, Sturridge. Substitutes: Karius, Klavan, Moreno, Stewart, Grujic, Coutinho, Origi
Grujic on the bench ready to stiffen up the midfield if required. I assume Klavan is still not fully fit if Lucas is playing CB. Why not play Sakho, even if he has been a bit of a DH
What the **** is it with LFC and defence, i swear it's like some ongoing hybrid of a hilarious live prank show and the truman show where the rest of the world is monitoring and pissing themselves at us
