He should bring Matt along for the negotiation part. I'm sure our Elland wouldn't refuse a free week in the sun
Cheers este. I have hinted of meeting for a beer over recent months. She has family out there Benamedena, he a builder, his Mrs an estate agent (we keep quiet about this) and they say they have spotted a few things on the market which are decent /good value. The Mrs sees this as code to spend more! My job is to keep it realistic. Put it this way she saw a couple of places that had an extra nought in the selling price. Top weight I want to be moved in and have our new main home for €475,000 - €525,00. Selling bits and pieces and cashing in an investment pot over here to fund it. Have sold our current house and are buying a small bolt hole over here ( youngest will live in it). If we get done will shout you for a few beers..... A bit silly we are going on to visit friends in fuertaventura and have only scheduled four days for property viewing. Original plan was to go look at a specific plot of land! Thirty minutes it was supposed to be done.
Im searching for a green with envy smiley face. Must admit I fancy the idea of popping over to Spain for matches better than Leeds. You wouldnt consider the Barcelona area would you? It would suit me far better
If this goes tits up. We might have an option of a place in Northern France. Can be in Paris in less than an hour. Would PSG be acceptable?
Chippy the area around Miraflores has some bargains and I go out there to a Timeshare we have just to play golf for the week. Benamadena is close by and has a great course. If you play there are a hundred courses to do. Banus is great for a time but you soon get bored of the pousers and prices. Este will know how over inflated the prices are around Banus, but to be fair they dropped off a cliff since 2009 and just about to start rising again. A mate is buying something which he looked at a few times and now is £250k cheaper. If you do like golf why not live on the largest golf resort in Europe. La Calla. we play there every year and has 3 championship courses and the properties are wide ranging and were very exclusive but vastly reduced now. Also a great hotel on site that puts up your relatives when not enough beds in your own gaff. Every property with views of the course or sea views.
Lots of hopes and aspirations at the minute. Golf is going to be my new hobby eventually. Only held a bat three times so a complete novice. She is into horse riding (rides out for a friend and now wants her own). So we have a livery yard close by. To be honest we are looking for a relaxed social scene but I would not want to end up in a Brit enclave if you know what I mean. In five years time I would like to have sold up everything here and bought a boat., nothing too grand so not talking a Fairline. Starting Spanish lessons next week! She of course is fluent.
This is going to be a tough one with Udders on top and Leeds with a point to prove. I don't think us playing with a lone striker is going to be enough to beat Udders, unless they're having an off day, also, depends on who's in goal and who's upfront. With Green in goal it's always going to be a hard game to win, he's a liability. My 2 votes go for a nicked 2-1 win to Leeds, Antonsson to score, or a 3-1 win to Udders, I can't see a draw in this game. Elland, couldn't cast my votes, it's broken.
Bit further south than my place, but you'll get some superb properties in that price range. Spain is fantastic, still proper quality of life and cost of living (houses, food etc) if you don't buy in the tourist resorts. I don't want to wish my life away but can't wait till I can retire out there. And you get the 3 o'clock Saturday games
I am down to two days work a week now, and then only because I want to earn some pin money. I will be flying back for more than a few games.
