I read this and took it at face value:

"The QPR Box Office would like to advise supporters that tickets for this fixture are now on General Sale.
This fixture has been selected by the club as a ‘Kids for a Quid’ fixture, with Season Ticket Holders and Members able to buy up to 4 tickets in the School End Lower Tier (Blocks Z1-Z6) and Loft Lower (HL-PL) with Junior Under 18’s priced just £1 each prior to match day when accompanied by a full paying adult – subject to availability. Please note that the School End Lower Tier is for home supporters only."

I admit to taking this information at face value. <grr><grr><grr><grr><grr><grr><grr><grr>

I have no idea rhino, I'm sure it's on the official website as well as all the other social media platforms. If you're on not606 QPR then I'm pretty much sure you'll have access to the latest feeds from the club. I'm sorry that you haven't taken advantage of the offer but it has been about for a while. Without trying to sound condescending Sooperhoop created a thread about it ten days ago ... http://www.not606.com/threads/kids-for-a-quid.335237/

If you have any gripes about the deadline etc I would contact the club and direct your ire at them.

Oh great. I am sitting in the lower school end tomorrow and will be surrounded by bored screaming kids.

Isn't it funny, the club considers the Lower School end unsuitable for a family stand except when they have kids for a quid day. I find that a bit contradictory. If it is unsuitable to be a family stand, why put such groups of supporters there when it suits and their tickets are cheap? It just doesn't add up to me.

Well thanks for setting me straight there nines, I don't know if you feel better now but why the **** did you reply? I did check in advance I posted the info noted above and acted accordingly, there was me thinking this was a ****ing forum.

I was rather hoping someone would have some news NOT on the official here on a forum. FFS

Here's a tip, when you don't want to sound condescending don't use the word condescending. Go and have a sit down big man, I going to.

I've just had a look and have seen that they're now asking for £17 for an under 18. That seems a bit steep to me so I sympathise with you on that one. That's quite a jump from a quid. I would've expected them to be in the region of £5 - £10.

I don't see why you felt the need to reply to me so aggressively. Cheers anyway.

It's made worse by the fact I spent an hour sat on the M4 and missed Kick Off, the post was a little aggressive, as I said the best way to avoid a conversation about condescension is to not mention it.. Only I assumed you were wumming by the tone of your post, if that wasn't the intention, then no hard feelings. I was pissed off last night as it I had just been mugged, but I wasn't pissed off at you until the second post, my mood may have exacerbated this I concede but it was 3 in the morning! and again I had just been mugged it was all in there.

At least we saw 2 half decent goals and stayed mostly dry, Well worth the 100 quid I've shelled out today. Interestingly next week Swindon play Bury at home I could take 1 child and have chips & a pint and it would cost me less than £30. Non-local supporters and there are many more than I who travel from much further afield must needs our heads examining.

I do have to say this though, having been a critic of the club for years the staff were excellent and I mean everyone we spoke to couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Thank you to them.
