I get what you are saying, but the way we are playing we could still be on 3 points after 10 games. But swan, he sorts the tactics if we actually have any, he picks the side (unless HJ is doing that as well), So yes I am not happy with the squad, but they are 100% better players than the way they are playing and I have to say that ultimately lays with the manager. I am not convinced that he can turn this around, I just don't think he has the tools or the players confidence.

True there is a difficult run of games coming up but we're always capable of getting a few shock wins. The must win games that are upcoming are; Watford and Southampton at home. Then throw maybe one shock win and a draw somewhere and that'll set us up nicely. I know things are never that simple but IMO it's a realistic target. If we do although get nothing from those games then I will be calling for a change, but to do it now is a bit premature.

I sort of agree, In seasons past I could see us sneaking a win when we are not supposed to, but we are such a shambles at the moment I cant see where any win is going to come from. We have the worst centre half pairing in the PL, IMO, I just don't think we can hold teams out and as soon as we go 1-0 down we are ****ed as we cant score either. (maybe when Baston FINALLY gets fit we can score a few). We look like we will concede every time a side attacks us, couple that with our total ineptness at defending set pieces I just cant see where our next point is coming from. Guidolin got lucky last season when we were totally out played by inferior sides to us, Villa, WBA and others and we sneaked a few results 1-0 despite being second best in many games, I think his luck has run out and his ineptness is shining like a massive beacon.

For all that lets hope that he and the side make me look a complete fool with these comments.

I don't want Baston in the team or on the bench if he is not 100%.. When is the next under 23 game let him play in that. I think the game will be a lot closer than people think and wouldn't be surprised if we get a narrow win.

I thought Baston was fit for Sunday? That's what was being said last week unless things have changed? Haven't seen any of Guidolin's press conference though.

Someone told me he isn't fully fit but may make the bench, how true I don't know.

The press conference is on YouTube every Thursday evening. But basically Guidolin stated that Baston is training but needs to take things slow. He also said that he may be ready to be on the bench Sunday.

    Here's the full conference

Agree, CB's are a concern and also, unfortunately, it looks like Baston is on the bench.

This is my anthem these days Kiff

I dont only blame Guildo for for our poor start, I equally blame Jenkins and the Morgan's for playing a big part in the lack lustre way they have run the club these last few seasons with little or no ambition...

Performance tomorrow is more important than the result imo. As long as we see an improved performance I'll be happy.

Valley, I agree, I want to see signs of us being a team, not 11 individuals, which is what it has been so far. I want us to have a go, it is all very well the players and staff saying they want to make The Liberty a fortress, then to just try and defend for 90mins. Any improvement in performance will be a small step forward. Unfortunately Guidolin will pick his chosen few who shouldn't be near the team at the moment that is Fer and Routledge.

    Fab
Naughton Amat Fernandez Kingsley ( I would actually start Mawson, but not sure he is ready yet cant be any worse though)
    Montero Cork Britton Barrow
    Siggy
    Llorente.

That would be my team too Trunds, but I think Taylor, Routs, Fer and Kiwill come into the team instead of Monty, Kingsley, Barrow and Leon :(

If Leon doesn't start tomorrow we'll get stuffed.

I think we'll play the diamond instead of our usual 4-2-3-1.

Mate I wouldn't have Fer, Routledge or Taylor in the starting 11, but I have no doubt Guidolin will put Fer and Routledge in he loves them for some reason, yet they have been really poor. Not so sure Taylor will start though.

Looking at the stats Routlage has created the most amount of chances in the premier league, before today that is. Also Fer hasn't done anything IMO to suggest that he shouldn't be anywhere near our team. (although I would choose Cork and Britts and Montero and Barrow)

IMO a little patience is needed as anything could happen. Just look at Stoke, they look to be in trouble even with the signings they have made. 3-0 down to the spuds as we speak.
