These were all deliveries to supplement our holiday which we couldn't really justify otherwise. The plan was to get to Venice, see friends in Tuscany then come back home via Antibes and Paris. But we've just been asked to quote for a 'special delivery' to an island we've never even heard of. We've put in a quote of £2500 which we hope would cover the ferries etc. We've never even heard of the island so it's a chance in a lifetime. Nice house in New York, 5th avenue for sale, $80 m !. I would love to go there for a week world's biggest Museum, book shop, store (Macey's) central park my brother went a few years back but he is a university lecturer. Stanhope is the furthest I have been on holiday !.
Cheers mate, the pantomime is about to start! Just booked tonight's hotel in Paris 'bang' opposite the Notre Dame ....... just as well our lass didn't see the terrorist plot there this week. @commachio1 This is one of the biggest islands here, and I've checked, but the level of sympathy coming my way when football becomes the number 1 topic of conversation around the bar suggests that Smug and his wife aren't in the Maldives at this point in time.
