I had watermelon and feta cheese salad.

Twas amazingly good too. I'm in a mission to get out of holiday mode and lose the half stone I put on while on holiday.

Giving up the beer cold beer and white bread every day is the start.

It's a French restaurant, Custard wouldn't like it, too foreign.

I bought a really nice nut granola from Lidl which is helping with the healthy eating. I'm fighting the sugar cravings with Whole Earth sugar free peanut butter with a banana.

I get that peanut butter, it's good.

My breakfast smoothy this morning was oats, strawberries, raspberries, greek yoghurt and lime juice.

    Mixed with water. Lovely.

I can't do smoothies as fruit gives me gout.

The weekend is upon us, this is where it gets hard, no way I'm off the beer but will still be healthy-ish with my eating.

I'm actually frothing at the mouth!!

I had a couple of Taffy Apples (not great) Wednesday at rugby training but I'm gagging for an ale.

Will be nipping to Morrisons at dinner to select a few.

Not having lager, still got a few of the rip top San Miguel I brought back.

Had some of those Mahou you like when I was over there. Bloody lovely I got to say.

It's one of those that sat well with the weather and location though. Not sure I'd like it so much on a chilly autumn day over here.

I rate Mahou over San Miguel, I know what you mean though and do tend to drink it in the summer only. I'll switch to IPA as the weather gets a bit cooler.

I also prefer the mahou to San Miguel. The red bottle which I think is the 7 star. The green bottle isn't so good.

I will be drinking them next weekend also as am off on holiday.
