Is there football again this weekend? How lovely. I don't like to venture out of my little Saints bubble too often as it can lead to distemper, sometimes even melancholy. Really need the diamond to sparkle against the Arse - I am my usual pessimistic self about the game though
At least he's speaking English unlike Poch. A lot of dislike for Puel, even though we are only 3 games into our season.
I am a bit of a Francophile so I am comfortable with the bloke. Some people will take a bit of time to warm to him.
Read this forum often, but post rarely, but some posters negativity towards Puel is pathetic. So the guy isn't charismatic and we haven't won a game yet, but we've only been beaten once and it's still early days. Plus He speaks at least two languages which i bet is more than 99% of the posters on this board. I bet i sound boring speaking French. I might sound boring in English as well but that's besides the point. Rant over i will now disappear back into my shell and read again from a distance. 1-1 this Saturday by the way.
I didn't say I dislike him, just that hes not that interesting to listen to. Hes not been hired as a public speaker, as long as hes a good manager.
I'm a happy clapper, but I don't agree - MP felt like he had a lot more gravitas, regardless of language. It is a point with Puel that does concern me.
I think us and Arsenal are pretty similar teams, albeit they're a level up from us. However we are both capable of playing excellent football, while also being capable of turning into a shower rather unexpectedly. Either team could go either way on Saturday, so a Saints win is not out of the question. The only thing that makes it unlikely is the fact that Arsenal are at home. At St. Mary's I still think we can beat them. I'll say 2-1 to Arse. Bloody hope we score at least.

Sieving through the beginning of that indicates that he does not intend to change his style...talks about players coming into the starting line up if needed but they will all be familiar with the way the team plays. Appears he took Arsene Wenger out in a training session as he plays to win (even in the little games...to use his words). Hope he eases up on that as he seems to join in during training here.
