I would expect that if the chinese did pay for the players there would be some deal to repay. I wouldn't have thought there would be a need for much money up front the transfer fee is usually paid over a few years. We would have got first instalment paid by the Premier League.

The only thing I will say in positive is this! We made the 6 signings we did because we thought new owners were coming in! If the Chinese consortium don't then fingers crossed someone else does as the Allams clearly want out at last! If the Chinese consortium hadnt have happened we could seriously have been looking at the squad who started the Leicester game until December! I know I am clinging to positives but it's a positive!
All transfers and payments have been agreed by agents of the club with the authority to do so. You can't agree a contract to pay for a player as an outside party who may become the owner, It's not legally possible. So... While the Chinese may have agreed the purchases and future payment liabilities, the obligation falls to the club (the party in the contract). All the Chinese would have done is say they were happy as prospective owners with how money was being assigned now and in future. If we have a contract to pay for MH in January as a permanent it's a deal the current owners have made and are liable for. Stop flapping.
Transfers can never be undone as its not the owners who sign the players it's the club. So the signings we have made have come out of our clubs coffers and not the Allams or Chinese. If anything, if the Chinese deal falls through the Allams may put the price of the club up by 10-15mil!
Theresa May will have to agree to Hinkley Point now. The Chinese have already lost too much face with being told they're not fit and proper people to own City.
they can only check so much , how about lets get the facts to come out before labelling the guys who openenly said they were leaving a week or so ago in the programme and also on ITV .. not everything is their fault you know ?
