Ahh It's always difficult to know who people are on anonymous forums But you've outed yourself...I now know you're my wife! What's for tea?
Just listening to RH... and Burnsy said 'Alarm Bells are ringing'..... make that 'Allam bells are ringing'...
One member of the potential 10 rich consortium members was worth reportedly 2billion alone...asset stripping was never a worry with me...wouldnt be worth the hassle for effectively nearly peanuts to them.....thought we was in for some exciting times ahead..oh well but gutted
Also saying that the deal was to sell to two named people , FA/PL object when 10 names appeared on the takeover contract.
They will be suitably advised by agencies that know exactly what they are on about. Believe me! If it's concerns about political influence and dodgy money, there are experts in London who live near Vauxhall.
As others have said, if one or more of the consortium have failed the FPP check then we dont want them running our club. But if the others are willing to exclude them and resubmit, I cant imagine why it couldnt then go ahead. Too much has happened during the past month or so for this to just collapse. Im hoping it's a fairly easy fix and that Humberside's sources are jumping the gun a bit.
Once the dust settles every reasonable person will see that the Allams have a huge dilemma, and if we see that dilemma, then we can be sure that potential buyers will have seen it before we did. The Allams clearly wanted out since their plans came to nowt to re-develop Walton Street and get the KC Stadium for nowt. They have no interest in Hull City. So what do they do? If I were called Allam and can't sell to the price I want, I'd simply run the show on a shoestring budget and withdraw every penny I could get, and tell Hull City Till I Die to stop bothering me and get on with dying. Of course, in the meantime, possible buyers will be pressing the price as low as they can. If that price falls below what Allam can squeeze out of it by keeping, then buyers can go suck. This is about one thing ... money. Why the hell did those Chinese want to buy Hull City? Money, but address questions please to Imperial Tiger who knows more of these issues than me. Our only hope is that the Allams begin to tremble, and get the idea that asset stripping is a one-way street. Perhaps they'll see sense, do what they can to keep City in the Premier League, and sell soon for the best offering price.
So can they not just boot out the members that are holding up the deal to push it through? I'm suddenly not as worried, if the Chinese want this to happen, they'll accept what the PL want from them and then make changes afterwards.
Have you read my post above? If it's a bum deal, it's a bum deal. It's not about every name on the list its about the underlying integrity of the purchase. There are massive reasons why it can't just be a new list of names. Asking for two to drop off sounds simple, but it's not that simple! My suspicions are this is a more wide issue with just where the cash and influence is at its heart. That said, we don't know the facts yet so it's speculation.
That's a bit like saying Hitler was a nutcase but we'd do business with Goebbels or the wolf in sheep's clothing Karl Doentiz. Not or me I'm afraid. I am fussy about the company I keep.
Exactly. It's not about the superficial details on any front sheet, it's about the hidden funding and personnel motivating this.
