The largest UK owned car maker is errrm Morgan or McLaren mate.

We make about 1.5m cars over here, but 99% of them are by foreign owned companies.

Of the 1.5m, about 350k stay on these shores, 700k go to Europe and the remaining 450k are produced for the global market.

So roughly half of what we produce goes to the EU currently.

Can't put it any simpler than this; it's the UK alone which stands to lose the following...

    1) Access to the single market.
    2) Access to other markets through EU negotiated trade agreements.

Your argument you're of average build was dismissed with Stan's photo evidence but you plough on regardless.

That's really the issue isn't it,
If we restrict foreign companies from trading in the EU from the UK then they will shift production. They already have factories elsewhere in the world to serve those markets so the concept of us shifting our exports is false as it isn't in our control.
Even those that are produced for non EU countries are made in this country because it's cheaper to use the same production line, it means that if the EU trade is shifted then our non EU trade is also reduced.

They want to rush things because they don't want us to plan it properly.
If we plan it properly and leave with minimal negative impact, then the other member states will start to wonder why they have bought in to the **** show that is the EU and will decide to hold their own referendums.

I think they are simply, justifiably saying that as we voted out we should leave ASAP. Why have a disaffected employee in the office?

That article includes a tweet by Tusk.

"Our goal to establish closest possible EU-UK relations. Ball in UK court to start negotiations. In everybody's best interest to start asap".

So Teresa needs to stop all the Brexit Means Brexit soundbite bullshit and get on with it. Unless she's concerned about something...

That's bollocks, we pay in, so we leave when we want to leave, when its right for us.
They don't get to dictate that to us. That's really all this is, they want us out asap as they know that if it is not done properly and with due care, then it will be chaotic and they can point and say "See Netherlands, See Italy, if you leave this is what will happen!" Their fingers are crossed so hard, you can hear their knuckle joints beginning to crack.

If that's what springs to mind when somebody mentions restaurants I would suggest you frequent the wrong restaurants.

Right back at you, that's bollocks.

So we voted to leave but we don't want to leave just yet but they want us to leave ASAP despite the fact they don't want us to leave.

Perhaps you could act as a consultant to them and make them realise that all along they should have been looking at markets outside of the EU. Ground breaking stuff Kustard. No wonder you're such a big success <laugh>

    The ****?

They dont want us to leave.
But if we ARE to leave, they want us to do it NOW! because that will cause the most amount of instability, and they don't want other member states realising that life outside the EU isn't as apocalyptic as the so called experts predicted.

All we have done so far is held a referendum, its none of their business when we invoke article 50, because until we do, we are just as much a part of the EU as the other members. They should just STFU and let us do it when we are ready.

I buy items (small) from china via ebay or alibaba and postage costs are next to nothing.

Jag and LR sells quite a few cars to the USA, they love them.
