http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/french-family-10-turn-down-8790067 A French family of 10 have criticised a British council for failing to provide a bigger house - despite turning down a five bed property. Arnold Mballe Sube and his wife Jeanne, both 33, share a three-bedroom council house with their eight kids. But the couple say they need at least six doubles for them to be comfortable. They claim the living conditions are “terrible” but turned down a larger home because of a lack of storage space. Arnold and full-time mum Jeanne moved from France in 2012 so that he could study mental health nursing at the University of Bedfordshire. Arnold claims the property is not suitable and he says he has enlisted the help of solicitors to help get him the house he wants. “I am remorseful over leaving France but not in the sense I regret it because I am doing my course. But we were living in a very beautiful home in France and sometimes they ask why we left our home there.” please log in to view this image I am sure there are some simple solutions to the plight of these poor souls.
How come they are in social housing when the waiting list is over 10 years and they have only been here for 4?
Murdoch has you dancing like the ******ed little puppets that you are 'Dem dere coloured folk got da big housez and not us, NOT FAIR!!!!!!!@!@@@' Be angry at something worthwhile you thick clueless pricks
Due to the vast number of offspring. The system is points based and for each ankle biter they have more points are awarded. Neither parent works so I'd guess at free housing, free schools, free health, free education, the Dad's mental health course is funded by the NHS too. Not got a pot to p*ss in but their TV is huge and the kids have got their own TV and an X-Box. I don't even have an X-Box!!
Fail. Daily Mirror isn't owned by Rupert Murdoch. Out of interest, admittedly very little interest, what should we be angry at?
They must have an amazing quality of life, sleeping head to foot every night Let's take it away from them
No you're right A massive house should be used by one occupant of extraordinary wealth Enough of this filling rooms with people to suit their needs
OK I'll bite Mindoid . 2 men start with nothing 1 works hard gets a good job and eventually earns enough money to buy a massive house. He chose not to have kids and focus on his career. The second keeps ****ing his Mrs until he has 8 children no job and no house. Should the first man give up his big house because Man number 2 can't ****ing pull out ?. In Mindoland bad decisions and fecklessness would be greatly rewarded and no **** would bother working. See Africa for examples.
Shouldn't be allowed to have kids unless you can support them. It's a ****ing piss take and all you tax payers are paying for it
Not asking anyone to give up their house. However I'd probably murder the first man and take his house Then I'd set up a system of government and welfare where by homes are built for those who need them so nobody murders me for my home Might work, dunno
That depends on what your definition of need is. Did our protagonist need to spit out 8 kids? His latest offspring is young enough to have been born in the UK after the family moved here so chances of telling the family to feck off back to France are slim even if Brexiters expect this to be the norm now that we have voted to leave the EU. Even if the chap gets his nursing qualification there is no way he will be able to support a family of 10 on an NHS salary. Going rate is between £20-25k so he'll be staying put in Council accommodation unless he decides the UK is too sh*tty and he moves back to France which he might do after the UK NHS have funded his education. We need more mental health nurses but I am not so sure we need them to bring 8 kids along for the ride. Can't believe the fecker turned down a 5 bedroom house because there wasn't enough storage space. Buy under-bed drawers and get a shed you twat!
