£500m might see them do it once but I doubt it would be enough to over power the likes of Man City, Chelsea and Man Utd
Maybe not i suppose. If they kept 4/5 lads they have though... well.. no suppose not. How much? A bil or so? Complete transformation?
Chelsea and Man City have both broken the billion barrier since being taken over haven't they? Man Utd broke that barrier as soon as the Glazer's bought them!
Yeah but chelsea is over 10 years. Man city is over 5 manager? Im not sure where utd are at since ferguson left. I suppose catching them is one thing and continually staying there is another.
Chelsea and Man City are the better examples since they both had to spend to get there initially before spending more to stay there and / or progress further. Man Utd were already at the top of the tree.
A redevelopment of the Anfield Road End which would see the capacity exceed 60,000 has already been agreed. #lfc (Paul Joyce)
There's not the space to get 6k extra seats. It's meant to be 4.8k... but it's be nice..... It'd be fabulous to see the formal plans finalised for permission and a date announced. It would say something about fsg.
I looked around and found two rumours. 1. The same contractors who've just completed the main stand have been contracted for the anfield road end. 2. Owners are going to be at game this weekend.. and may make announcement. So..... if Paul joyce was told that kind of aligns with ramping up expectation and hyping the thing.
FSG should ask Everton who their builders are. We'd get Anfield Road end done for a fiver and a go with Mrs Tobes
We spoke about it last week mate on the 'Liv v Leics new stand' thread. mito posted the drawings from the Liverpool.gov site I linked from the time the plans were agreed, which was the same time the Main Stand plans were accepted.
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...l-transfer-rumours-juventus-interest-11862922 this one is fun. dahoud linked to juve... his agent is already wokring o nthat bargain deal. I predict an lfc bid in january
Paul Joyce one of the better connected Jorno's with Liverpool states that the Anfield Road end Plans have been agreed and permission given at the time we submitted the Main Stand was... I guess, FSG won't fund this one on their own, they'll most likely wait until we get part ownership with China sorted before we start on that, maybe in the next 3-5 years, will take capacity to over 60,000
N'Golo Kante better than Claude Makelele, says Chelsea's Nemanja Matic http://www.skysports.com/football/n...n-claude-makelele-says-chelseas-nemanja-matic
You might be right. I would take a "break" next summer for the pitch to be totally relaid then crack on with it the following year personally. I would hope they just do it. If we repay thier interest free loan in 2 years not 5.. well they should go do this
yes the old matrix is still below it so the hump and bumps are there. Its also older soil and so forth and so on. We will see it wear less well naturally and probably look a bit bumpy by feb/march or whenever the weather gets drier.
Building of the Annie Road end will be similar to the Main Stand, Back to front build that will allow the current stand to be used. Annie Road end will also be the same height as the new main stand, should be bloody impressive when done. One thing we can be certain of, when FSG say they'll do something, they've done it so far, not perfect but we've some decent owners. The +tive nett spend is nothing to do with them either, money was there for Jurgen to spend, he choose not to!
Glad klopp is not spending for the sake of it. If the player you want isn't available, Save your money. I think he will spend in Jan. May depend on league position by then.
