Kustard has so far told Bodanki to leave the country (standard response when the debate gets too complicated for him) and Pete has called everyone who disagrees with him stupid (standard response when Pete is involved in anything other than a monologue).

If Lilley truly believes that he's an even bigger idiot than his CV suggests

If the Tories make a spectacular arse of the EU exit negotiations and we are in recession by 2020 then you never know what could happen.

I'll have good money that Corbyn won't be leading the Labour party come 2020 as well.

You not a Corbyn fan Tobes?
I must admit, I didn't like the look of his manifesto at first, but he is winning me over, except for a few bat **** ideas, like him wanting to withdraw from NATO <eek>
The **** is that all about?

You'd do well in the US.
Their police officers are great at de-escalating situations too <laugh>

    Just read it again.

Likely is talking nonsense, IMO. How are tariffs ok with us but bad for the EU?..

No mate, I think he's a total dick. I did have some respect for him prior to the referendum but his lack of leadership was appalling and his behaviour since the mass vote of no confidence just plain embarrassing

He's never been the man to rebuild Labour into a genuine 'sensible' choice....<whistle>

I did lose respect for him after his EU U-turn as well.
Its obvious to all and sundry that he despises the EU, but he was towing the party line, he knew his grip on the leader ship was tenuous and he didnt want to upset the apple cart.
Am annoyed they are doing another leadership vote though!
Seems to be the trend these days, lose an election, and bitch and moan until people cave and call for another election. Thats not democracy either, just to keep holding elections until you get the result you want. Plus all those new Labour party members got shafted.

Because at the present the EU sells more to us than we sell to them so they will be subject to more tariffs.

Corbyn, apart from being totally unelectable, has the personality of a dead fish!..
I neither like him, nor trust him.

By keeping him as their leader the Labour Party are not so much shooting themselves in the foot, but blowing them clean off!...

They will be obliterated if they go into a GE with him at the helm...

And if they stop buying from us because of the tariffs?...

Do they have an alternative source for the things they buy from us?

I'd have had more respect for him if he'd have said my personal stance is obvious but it's at odds with the party membership, so I'm going to step back on this one and allow X to lead on this for Labour.

As it was he's just some wet lettuce who wasn't in the slightest bit convincing and added **** all to the campaign. That was one of the reasons the traditional Labour vote went against, as the party did **** all to convince them that despite their concerns, the leave vote was highly likely to affect hit the working classes the worst in the medium term, as happens with every economic downturn.

I suppose if they can buy the **** they buy from us, from elsewhere, cheaper, and its equal in quality, then why would they not?

Same as us. What do we need to buy from the EU?
Anyway we don't have to raise our export prices if we don't want to.
