Ok maybe a bit optimistic given our crappy away record but the signs are all there. Rafa's got them playing as a team, Sissoko's gone now, we won our last away game and Derby haven't started the season well. Its a 530pm kick off so presumably its on telly there.
sorry I was going by the the others this season and thought less was the new more. Will add some bulk when I get home. Pissing down with rain, here tree collapsed on expressway and its taken 2hrs to go 10kms. My driver is exhausted!
I would have taken a draw against Brighton, I would take a draw away to Derby. Everyone is a little more optimistic after recent results, but we dont want to be over confident or even complacent, Derby are a good side, good individuals with a good home record. this will be tough. I'm just glad the farcicle intenational break is over and we can get some real football underway. these international games have really declined in recent years, sooo bloody dull
I would take a win against Derby. There is no team in this league, home or away, that we should be fearing or not wanting 3 points from. Not with the squad we have compared to everyone else's. I certainly don't think we'll win every game of course as football is football and sometimes you play badly or luck goes against you.
You will have to explain to me how time works in the imperial measurement system as I am unfamiliar with that.
Anybody know whether we are at full strength or are we missing any of the regulars? Every time I google Newcastle current injuries the only hits are a Sports Clinic in Morpeth and Siem de Jong's Wikipedia page.
Think it's just Aarons, Haidara and Elliot out injured. Which tbh is pretty miraculous, given that we generally come off the international break with no keepers and the tea lady up front.
