Looking for some improvement here. Expect us to get battered for 90mims but hope to show some resilience and a bit of counter attacking flair. Finger crossed.

I just had a phone call with 'our Nige' for the best part of half an hour ahead of this game and my God, he's every bit as lovely as he seemed.
Can see us getting a hammering here. Arsenal looked good last time out and have 2 new signings too. Worry about Ozil and Sanchez against our one DM. Reckon we might take a shock early lead though. 4-1 home win. 2 massive home games coming up after this.
The odds are firmly in Arsenal's favour, but then they were for the Boxing Day massacre too. We had no right to win that day, we were in poor form going into it, Arsenal were the opposite. 1-2, Saints to score first (Tadic penalty), Arsenal to push and push and equalise in the 85th minute before Southampton nick it at the end with a Fonte header.
