A 'disappointed' Tony Pullis won't be leaving WBA after they failed to get some of his preferred targets.. One of which was William Carvalho... The Sporting player that was a star at Euros.

£20m bid they were going to make but didn't... Prob needed to double then, then pay him £150k a week in wages and convince him West Brom is more attractive than European football with Sporting... And even d did all that... Who'd move from Lisbon to West Bromich from a City perspective!!!

His whole career has been up front bar 1 season, not as a deep lying playmaker in the Kroos/Alonso type.

    What utter bullshit.

Pulis needs to just admit he can see the situation hes created himself and wants to run from it.

He will be gone by christmas.

Do you think Klopp will do the same?

Oh dear this will backfire on you badly... popping up when you have the ultimate dodger whos fallen out everywhere he has gone and has engineered his escape with disasterous consquences at times.

    Good luck with this one.

Not really, I never wanted Mourinho in the first place because of his past record and have said so many times on here.
I am happy for him to build us back up and would like to think he will settle down with us but, have no illusion about that possibility.
I think you will find there are quite a few United supporters on these boards with the same feelings.
If he acts up after 2 or 3 years and goes I will be happy as long as he leaves us a strong squad for the next guy to take over.
Unfortunately the same can't be said about Liverpool (and bizarrely City) supporters, they always think the new manager is the Messiah (and in City's case chant his name much more than the players or team name).

So you reckon Rodgers left Klopp "strong squad"?

Is there a reason you're passing negative judgement on Klopp after less than 12 months at LFC but prepared to wait and see how Jose does in the next " 2 or 3 years" at Utd?

Utd are now in the business of buying success just like City and Chelsea, and yep Utd earn the right to spend the money they generate.<ok>

As for "messiahs", let's not forget every manager Utd have had in the last 60 years bar 2, false messiahs one and all.:)

    1.........Nope
2.........What makes you think I have passed negative judgement on Klopp? I have said many times on here I would have taken him at OT without a seconds hesitation before he came to you. As for the 2 or 3 years bit, read what I said (it certainly wasn't wait and see how he does) <ok>

All clubs are in the business of buying success, believe it or not even Liverpool bought some players in the transfer window (regardless of the sell to buy policy meaning you had a -ve "net spend")

Name me one manager the United supporters thought was a Messiah (Busby and Fergie excepted because they actually were).

Think you will find that was more of a club thing than a supporter thing, PR exercise if you like :emoticon-0100-smile

Kenny 1st time around was something of a messiah, Rafa looked like he could be but tapered off, Houlier was a messiah in his own head, Evans and Souness couldn't hack it, Woy and Rodgers shouldn't have got anywhere near the managers job(and neither should Kenny 2ndtime around) Klopp has every chance of being our next messiah, he was considered as being Utd's next messiah after the Chosen one but he chose us instead.

That was his first step towards messiah-hood.<whistle>

Fergie was only a " messiah" after dodging his p-45 for 6 years, as for the others, if Edwards Snr and Jnr never thought the rest were the next Utd "messiah" why were they given the job?
Tommy Doc would have been a good manager for Utd if he'd kept his dick in his Keck's but the rest...nah.

    Our net spend was -£750,000.:emoticon-0100-smile

I am talking supporters here, not club executives<doh>

Take a look back at some of the things written on here about Rodgers in his first two years, in fact save yourself time and look at the things being written about Klopp. The name has been changed but little else,

Ah, so a few comments on not606 Liverpool board speaks for ALL Liverpool supporters everywhere.<laugh>

Might come as something of a shock Diego but supporters don't choose or employ club managers, club executives do.<doh>

I seem to remember the majority of our posters weren't happy with Rodgers appointment, we said we were prepared to give the feller a chance which we did, we backed him until he was unbackable.:)

Woy wasn't actually chosen as manager by the club, he was chosen by a Chelsea fan so he doesn't matter.:emoticon-0100-smile

Not sure I believe half the crap said in the media now days.

Pr is king now days and most of the time probably advised to say half of the ****e they come out with as it gets you noticed.

And even negative crap doesn't seem to effect them as lots of idiots in well paid jobs regardless.
