We're due to leave for France & Italy this weekend, for a month's holiday, and really needing a break.

So it was a sickener to see that there's a blockade of Calais planned for today.

The French tend to carry these things on so it's possible we'll have disruption for a while, possibly on return as well.

There are 9,000 desperate migrants, at the Jungle, so it's a time bomb ........ what a mess of a situation.

We might have to look at a crossing from Plymouth or summat ...... bollocks!

Maybe if they'd sought refuge at the nearest place, rather than demanding to be let into the UK, then they wouldn't be living in a sewage pit in tents.

But we know that refuge isn't what they're wanting, is it? They are demanding the sort of easy, free-ride life that our gov't has historically rewarded these types of people.

Edit: I hope you have a lovely holiday though <ok>

If you live in Hampshire, which is what I think I have picked up from some of your posts, wouldn't sailing from Portsmouth or Poole be better. We're in Western Loire at the minute having done the Brittany Ferries Portsmouth to St Malo crossing and will be coming back Caen to Portsmouth.

    Looks that way mate.

We usually avoid it because the customs & police in St Malo always go through the van like a treasure hunt.

    But I think we'll give it a go <ok>

Just had a look at Newhaven, an hour from us, to Dieppe ...... £100 one way, looks OK.

I've just crossed on the Chunnel this morning, we had to get through the whole of France by coach from northern Spain before the stated 6.30 a.m. start. We were lucky as our drivers are experienced and knew of the planned disruption, feel sorry for anyone getting stuck in that. We heard the delays would be approx 12 hours.

Hearing that it will be a continuous thing until the jungle is bull dozered, farm land, local economy getting wrecked by this lot who ****ed their own Country up but seem to think it is in their right to **** up other peoples lives and Country, without one shred of evidence to say who they are.. The French are either stupid along with all the other Countries they marched through to get to Calais or they were promised a bit of Shakespearean Vanessa Redgrave at the camp which either certifies them mad or easily pleased..

On a footnote, I think Angela Merkel likes it rough in African bushes and has liquorish dildo..<ok>

Have you seen Lone Survivor Joe? Every time I think about blokes fleeing on their own from the middle eastern countries I think of that film and what is written in the credits after the film has finished, I won't post any spoilers on here but it really shows the difference between real men and the cowards who we see queued up in Calais with begging hands.

Edit: it's based on a true story in case you're wondering why I'm comparing a film to real life.

Its typical EU hypocrisy, stuff anyone else as long as you don't get **** on......however, as well as ****ting on us the French authorities are also ****ting on their own people in Calais, the thick twaats. Its the same naïve stupidity shown by the French that Merkel has shown in her country.

Maybe Merkel herself is behind the decision to keep the Jungle as it is?

When I look at Merkel, I see Corbyn's genetic sister only she has a lot of power..

That woman within 12 months has almost destroyed a empire through a Bob Geldof dream..

What she has started will take generations to fix..

The sad thing is, people who are genetic German who should be able to do this and that and live a normal life, will be somewhat hesitant now in the fear of rape, mugged or whatever by a bunch of **** houses who ****ed their own Country up and will **** up everywhere they go with 5th Century idealism..

One of these 'refugees' from the jungle was being interviewed by BBC News for this evening's show. He accused the opponents of the 'jungle' of being Fascists <doh>

Really? Did anyone tell him he was genetic vermin who was trying to screw a system, claiming hell on Earth because he didn't give a **** in life and looked for a golden rose through a layer of bullshit and whatever else came into his head.. I suppose he said London was his goal, well if the ****er does get in (god help us) then keep the lazy parasite down there, we have enough problems burying our fathers and grandfathers that fought for our Country, our white Christian/Catholic Country..

Six men have been arrested after a woman was attacked in Sunderland. The 26-year-old woman suffered cuts and bruises in the incident at a house in Peel Street, Hendon, overnight between Saturday and Sunday. Southern Area Command Chief Inspector Paul Milner said: "We know the woman had been in Sunderland City Centre on Saturday night before waking up in a strange address in Peel Street with cuts and bruises. "She managed to leave the house and get to a family member's home at around 5am on Sunday morning. "The victim believes her drink may have been spiked. "This is obviously a very serious incident and something we know the local community will be concerned about and we will have officers on patrol to offer reassurance to anyone who may be concerned and answer any queries they may have. "If anyone has any information they think may be useful to our investigation then I would ask them to get in contact with us." Six men are currently in custody.

    ..............

What the echo fails to mention is that these men are Turks.

Likely because it's not relevant to the crime.

An "artist" with a shocking history of serious sex offending has been put behind bars after being caught with indecent pictures of children. Frank Cousins, who sells his artwork and sculptures to customers at trade fairs, has previously served a nine year jail sentence for a sex attack and been convicted three times in the past for possessing vile images. The 51-year-old, who was already the subject of a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order, had his home raided by the police after a tip-off last April. Officers found two mobile phones containing over 100 indecent pictures of children, one believed to be as young as 5, being abused. At Newcastle Crown Court Cousins, who was previously sentenced for crimes while living in Sunderland, pleaded guilty to three specimen charges of making indecent photographs. The court heard his latest sickening collection included 70 category A images, which are the most serious category of their type. Prosecutor Paul Roland told the court: "The clear aggravating feature in this case is the previous convictions of the defendant for like offences." The court heard it was in 2000 Cousins was jailed for nine years for offences of gross indecency, indecent assault and possession of indecent images. In 2007 he was given a suspended sentence for making indecent images. In 2010, while he was living in Sunderland, he was caught with a collection of similarly sickening images after being arrested for trying to take a photograph of a little girl at the Bridges Shopping Centre. He was given a community sentence due to the time he had spent on remand. In 2012 he was caught with another illegal collection of images and given a further community order. Judge Penny Moreland reminded Cousins, now of Locomotion Way, North Shields, that it is real children in real, horrifying situations that are featured in the pictures he had searched online for. The judge told him: "One of the children who is depicted is a girl aged 5 to 9, depicted in a category A image. "That was a real child, a real little girl, aged five to nine, forced to do that so you can look at pictures of it happening." The judge sentenced Cousins to 12 months behind bars, with a 10-year sex offender registration. Judge Moreland told him: "You have had three periods of supervision under the terms of various orders and you are still looking at these images of children, indecent images of children. "There is no reason to think any further period of supervision or intervention will prevent you from doing that." Paul Caulfield, defending, said Cousins sought professional help straight after his latest relapse, which happened during the breakdown of a relationship. Mr Caulfield said Cousins feels "hounded" by the press and has made a success of his business, "notwithstanding adverse publicity and obvious hostility he would attract in his local community". He added: "He is a self-employed artist and sculptor. He attends trade fairs and the like to sell his products. "He has managed to make his business succeed." Mr Caulfield said the images on the phones had been deleted by Cousins and could only be retrieved using specialist software, which he did not have access to.

Race, religion, nationality doesn't get a mention because crime isn't exclusive to any one subgroup in those categories.
