"well educated" is a relative term in the age when university graduates have to work at McDonalds. Education doesn't seem to include being trained to know what is going on around you. Pokemon doesn't help you to know whether Angela Eagle is a lesbian or who's taking part in the Labour leadership elections.

It's quid pro quo, Pete. The Americans like to send lots of their own people to London to work for various reasons. They have to give reciprocity.

I don't know if that's applicable in any other business, but it has been in my old business for 30+ yrs.

You're wasting your time. Your interactions (albeit more eloquent) with Payroll Pete mirror my own. Like yourself, I have been educated to a far high level, but it still didn't stop him from continually trying to play the "I am far superior than you card, continuously"
He lives in his own little bubble, where he only has a dog for company. It must really grind his gears that dog is more intelligent than him.

Yes we can say which people we want to live in the UK the EU would have no power to refuse.
However when we then asked for continued access to the free trade area then we can expect a response of yes, if you allow free movement of EU workers.

The big firms of accountants do it too. Oil companies do it as well.

I find it odd how often you bring up Angela Eagle's sexual preferences.

So you don't think it's question of MPs being unable to be specialists in every subject?

No, I think it's very much a case of them not wanting to sit in the Commons listening to other grey men and women drone on if they can avoid it.

I thought it was odd that you didn't know Angela Eagle was a lesbian. As if it was some big secret. All the time it was due to the fact that you were just incapable of noticing something widely commented on. "Who's Keith Vaz?"; "Oh, I don't read anything about politicians. It's so boring."

You must have a very low boredom threshold. What work do you do?

"G20, what's that? Anything to do with politics? It must be boring"; "Is that a pokemon across the road? I must go to it quickly. It's so exciting!" Splat!!! "Watford_R was very well educated. He could recognise every pokemon character. He'll be sadly missed"

Petersaxton, this is the **** from the "sensible party" isnt it? <laugh>

I would completely ignore his ignorant, racist, conservative ass if I were you. You will lose an IQ point every time you respond to one of his Enoch Powellesque rants.
He loves cats though.....just respond with a meow, maybe then he will like you.

Theresa May seems to fit this. During the last parliament she only attended 48% of debates. Only 40 MPs have a worst record. Some of the worst offenders are Mark Reckless, Douglas Carswell and George Galloway who couldn't manage 20%

Not interesting enough to continue beyond GCSE but one of the more interesting subjects I thought. It's a bit lame that your grammar goes out the window when you're upset.
