I love the Stone Roses although the new stuff is ****e.

I even like some of Ian Brown's solo stuff.

The Smiths are very hit and miss for me.

 

I keep meaning to investigate Catfish and The Bottlemen as I've heard the odd snippet on the radio and it's sounded OK.

 

Hendo should be captain.

 

Bought a CD the other day called 'The Politik' by Mark de Clive Lowe and Bembe Segue. Re-bought actually as I had a promo copy which was in my car for the last few years and finally scratched to smithereens. Great album, electronic jazz/soul/funk. Bembe segue has a brilliant voice. Powerful, delicate sultry and full of soul.

Henderson is ****ing ****e. I simply don't see what he offers this team.

Also Shaw should be starting ahead of Rose imo.

 

This game is as ****ing dull as dishwater. Slovakia down to 10 men now. Surely England can nick this now.

****e performance, got lucky when we nicked it at the end. Harry Kane should be nowhere near this team at the moment, would much rather see Vardy and Rashford being used.

Henderson is ****ing useless too, either Drinkwater or Mark Noble should be in that position.

Thought the team looked better balanced with Walcott and Sturidge, and Deli Alli going forward.

Overall England lack a creative spark I think Rashford could be that player, he should be in the team not in the under 21's

1-0 away win against a good team and a clean sheet.....It dont get any better than that for his first game in charge...

 

I wasn't saying we couldn't or wouldn't. I was laughing at the need to "nick it"

 

As long as the team still gets crammed with average Tottenham and Liverpool players we will be a poor side

 

To be honest though, could you have seen England getting a win any other way in that game ? I thought we were terrible first half, not a great deal better in the 2nd. Although we looked better when Walcott, Sturirdge and Alli came on, but Slovakia were down to 10 men by that stage.

 

I would play Danny Drinkwater and Mark Noble over Dier and Henderson
