Having a platform to speak doesn't translate into wielding power.
Farage's platform did translate into influence because a lot of what he said convinced people that the UK would be better off outside the EU.
William Joyce had no influence on British history.

 

Haw Haw had no power (or significant influence for that matter) and changed **** all.

Farage's platform was pretty much arguing that Britain had no power our influence in the EU. Getting voted in seems to suggest a significant number agreed with him.

You make these claims of "ripping new ones" etc quite often. I've seen you try to rephrase the debate quite often, building an argument nobody else has made, and then showing why it's wrong, and then trying to claim some sort of 'victory'. You're effectively arguing with yourself. It's sad to watch and just clutters up threads, restricting decent conversation.
