Iny view as an ex ref I found the majority are fair and officiate to the best of their abilities - don't forget no refs no organised affiliated football games.
Since the introduction of the financial payments for referrees it has opened the potential for the sort of abuse Mark Halsey has reported. More money more corruption in the game we all love - hopefully real action will be taken to sort this out but not holding my breath while the southern based money men hold power
