Does anyone remember the Saints radio station?

Did anyone listern to the Saints radio station? I used to listen to it at work with Mark Dennis forgot who he presented it with and there was Gordon Watson on Saturdays and Jimmy Case doing match Commentary also can't remember who with. If you did what did you think? I liked it but was I the only one?

 

Didn't we inherit the radio equipment when a company did the moonlight flit? Or was that a rumour.

 

Sorry, call me a pedant, but I had to get rid of that redundant apostrophe!

 

David Prutton presented a pretty good show during midweek, with guests, IIRC.

 

You'll be in big trouble with Beddytare for that as he says we mustn't behave like school Ma'ams.

 

Special dispensation for misuse of apostrophes as that can make heads explode.

 

I remember it - it used to broadcast on 107.8 FM

Think the commentator's name was Will Cope.

Although I personally preferred Radio Solent's commentaries

 

I lived up in the NW when that was available and was excited at the prospect of listening to Saints games ... Until I heard a couple of commentaries and couldn't bear it anymore. Awful coverage and beyond biased. They would talk about anything but the game if Saints weren't attacking and you had no idea what was going on in the play.

 

Yep that was Will can't Cope,Beattie and Prutton still owe me a shirt from one of their competitions! Did anyone get their winnings?
