This is the footie equivalent of "I never fancied you anyway" from Man U. They clearly lack the emotional maturity to handle rejection.
I have some facts about this. United were in for him but they (genuinely) have a respect for Southampton and the way we conduct or transfer dealings, and vice versa. The story wasn't leaked at their end (Mendes I assume) and they didn't make a bid on the understanding that we made it clear from the outset that we were not going to sell. Take that for what it's worth
I'd like that to be how it was. The inner me that believes most people are good people until they do you wrong, will accept that as what happened. Thank you. Nice ending. We March On.
Yeah I like this too. Thing about Mourinho, he's like an old-school gangster that respects you if you play by the code. He really should be Sicilian.
If we're murdering songs, how about John Lennon's one: "One thing you can't hide, Is when you're Sicilian inside..."
Old school gangsters still kill people and bury the bodies in rubbish dumps. The fact they wear nice suits and claim to have a code of honour doesn't make them respectable or honest.
I have found a welder but he is on standby until the window closes as there are suggestions today that Joe's move may still be on.
Someone's being a little bit touchy. The rumours were flying around for a while, and he did nothing to quash them, so if a few comments call into question his situation/club allegiance, he can't really complain, given his previous unwillingness to dismiss the transfer rumours.
He wasn't obliged to say anything, he has obviously now responded to the malicious and false negativity being made up about his actions. If you followed recent comments on Twitter you will understand why.
